Nate and I spend a lot of time from then on.

He came to school three times a week now instead of one time. I was happy about that but also wondered if he had shortened his working schedule because of school.

He had just denied and said that he changed his working schedule with one of his co-workers because she had to take care of her newborn son in the morning.

That was a valid enough reply so I stopped digging deeper.

Today was Wednesday and I had asked Nate if he had time to hang out.

We went to his apartment and baked a cake. After it was in the oven we sat down on his bed and just talked.

I yawned and laid down. It was so cozy and smelled just like him.

"You can take a nap if you want." He looked down at me and chuckled.

I just smiled lazily and then fell asleep.

Nate's P.O.V.

Just as I said it she was gone. I couldn't believe that girl.

Chuckling to myself I checked on the cake. It still needed to be in the oven for about half an hour so I set a timer and came back into my room.

Lumi started to sleep a little more soundly, little snores escaped her throat every now and then.

How could someone be so adorable?

Carefully I laid down next to her and turned my head so I could see her face from the side.

Then I did something I would never be able to do while she was awake.

I slid my arm around her torso and turned her so she was resting against my chest. Little sparks exploded everywhere we were touching.

My heart beat so fast I was scared of it breaking out of my chest any second.

We laid like that for a while and I started to get drowsy as well. Just then the timer went off.

Shocked I jumped up and ran into the kitchen.

Then I put off the timer, got the cake out off the oven and tried to calm my racing heart.

"Is the cake done?" Now there was no chance of calming it anymore.

With a red head I looked at her standing in the doorway.

She came into the kitchen and looked at me.

"Are you okay Nate?"

To hear my name out of her mouth was amazing. I felt special every time she said it.

"Yes, I'm fine."

God damn, get yourself together!
