Today Mariella was finally able to go home. The doctors said she still had cancer cells in her body but there was no reason for her to stay in the hospital anymore.

She would have to go there every third day to get a check up and had to continue chemotherapy.

Nate and I met at the hospital and together we picked the up and down jumping monkey up.

She was so happy to be able to leave this place.

"Lumi!" She yelled into my ear in the car.

Ouch.

Nate chuckled to himself.

"What is it sweetie?" I turned around to come in contact with a massive bouquet of flowers. Nate saw it out of the corner of his eye.

He panicked slightly and wanted me to turn around again but it was too late. I had already seen the massive thing.

"Mariella! How did get that into your hands?" He looked into the interior mirror to talk to her without having to take his eyes of the street for too long.

"It was in the back of the car." She answered grinning happily and Nate just sighed while I giggled.

How sweet of him to buy me flowers.

"Well it was to be a surprise but the little Miss already revealed it." He looked to the girl in his arms who was squirming now. Her cheeks were red and she tried to hide from me. It felt like humiliation to her.

"Ella, I am not angry at you. You didn't know it was a surprise so it's okay. But from now on, when I want you to keep a secret, please don't show it to Lumi, okay?" Mariella nodded and kissed his cheek.

"Sorry Niel."

"It's fine monkey."

He let her down and she stood by his side. It was a funny sight to see as she was half as tall as her brother. With her height of 99cm(3'2ft) she was a lot smaller than kids her age. Her brother being over 190cm(6'3ft) didn't help either. Not even I reached past his shoulders, and I was at least 165cm(5'4ft).

"So yeah, these are for you." he stretched out his arm and gave me the big bouquet. How sweet he is. smiling I looked up at him and pecked his lips. "Thank you rakas."

After Mariella had figured out that we really were together she didn't stop bouncing and demanded that we kissed over and over again.

As we had reached their apartment Mariella asked Nate: "Does Lumi live with us now?"

Nate looked down to me in surprise and answered his sister: "No, she doesn't yet. But she will visit us a lot in the future."

Mariella grinned and took my hand and Nate's.

She may have not noticed it but I was not able to forget the "yet" that Nate had placed into his sentence without seeming to notice.
