Lumi's POV

The next week I made a big decision.

I went through with my plan and bought a little house. It cost about 170,000$ and would take another 120,000$ to renovate and furnish.

I was so happy! The house had a yard about 250m² and even a little barn with one bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom! I thought about renting it out to make a little profit on the side.

The house itself had 75m² on the first floor, an open kitchen connecting to the living room, a little bathroom with a shower and two rooms, one being 20m² large and the other one being 10m², a little door was attached to that room to the yard. There was a second one in the living room going to the back yard as well.

Up the stairs were another two rooms with a connecting bathroom. I loved the room to the left of the house. It had windows on three sides, which let a lot of light in during the day. It was also really big(40m²) and had a round corner, that from the outside looked like a tower.

The other room was smaller, only 13m² tall, but it had a balcony that showed the yard behind the house.

A connecting bathroom with a huge size of 17m² sat between the rooms. In said bathroom was a big shower, a bathtub and even a closet. It seemed to have been a thing to have your closet in the bathroom in the nineteen hundreds. I didn't want to change it, for it being actually really practical.

As the house is really old a lot of renovating had to be done before anyone could move in. My aunt actually urged me not to buy the house but I fell in love with it so much I did it anyways. Now even she had a soft spot for it.

I couldn't wait to tell Nate about it once everything was done and ready to move in.

Actually I was planning to ask him to move in with me.

I had already planned for Mariella to get the big room downstairs and her own bathroom. The other smaller room would be my art studio. Upstairs would be our own space.

It would take the construction workers about a month to renovate everything. Then about a tenth of my money was gone. Half of it I had already invested into the market.

I really hoped Nate would say yes to moving in with me.

Everything in life worked out too perfect the last weeks...please let it stay like that.
