GRAYSON POV

there he goes slamming door again. what does he think that will solve? she made her choice and she's gone. he thinks that by forcing her to stay it will make her change her mind.

but maybe she's right you know? we all just need a break. i don't think she was right in moving out, but the guys are also right. i don't think she'll be gone forever.

i walk up the stairs to go lay in my bed and let myself mope around for a while. once i open my door, i see an envelope on my green bed spread and walk over to it.

my name is on it with her handwriting.

hey gray,

thank you. you've been such an angel and a blessing in my life. i imagine you're not gonna put up so much of a fight when i go talk to you soon, so i feel like you understand where i'm coming from. if i'm right you're gonna be the one to respect my decision to leave.

i'm sorry for putting you through the blaine thing. i told ethan the same thing but i'm really am. but to you, i'm sorry for creating a relationship i couldn't finish. i am so so sorry. because i hurt you today. and that is so fucking awful. because you and i are close and i care so so much about you.

please make sure you find happiness. make sure you live a long and full life. and when we both have that happy place in our lives we can reconnect and catch up.

you were an amazing best friend and an amazing boyfriend. so i feel comfortable say this, but i love you. i love you so much. but as a best friend. you warned me about hurting ethan and i didn't listen. i'm sorry for letting you be more into our relationship than me and i wont forgive myself for that.

but just know i love and care about you. see you again soon.

my eyes pricked with tears but in a sense i felt relief. i felt like this was some sort of closure. i mean yeah, i was in love with her. but it's okay.

she's right. brothers come first.

and with that i got up and headed to ethans room. i placed a few knocks on his door. he opened it and once he realized it was me, he opened it wider.

as if the whole twin telepathy thing was real we both opened our arms and just hugged. i cried. i could've sworn he shed a few tears too.
