Chapter 34

(Hey everyone! I wanted to finish this chapter up in time for Christmas, so as my gift to you, here's the final chapter for the year. I'll be doing another one just not for this year. Hope you enjoy! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!)

"Wake up...Wake up now my child." A voice called out. Luna's eyes slowly opened to see Papa Legba sitting on a large rock. Beside them was an open field of wheat similar to what you'd find in the Louisiana countryside. On the other side was what looked like an intersection. With an arrow going one way and another one pointing in the opposite direction.

"Welcome to the crossroads, my child." He said with a smile and a piece of straw in his mouth. She sat up looking around and feeling confused. "Why am I here Papa?" "Your mama's wanted me to give you two gifts. Before I do that, I wanted to give a gift of my own." He replied.

Papa Legba stood up from his rock and helped Luna up as well. The old man placed a calloused hand on the young woman's chest where her heart was, while the other was placed on her stomach. The first feeling she felt was a burning sensation on her forehead as his veve was placed over her heart. Then a warm fuzzy sensation was felt throughout her stomach. These sensations lasted but a minute before Papa Legba slowly pulled his hands away and stepped back "You are now a voodoo queen my child. I am very proud of you."

"Thank you, Papa. I couldn't have done all of this without you and all of the loa that have helped me. I can't thank you all enough." Luna said with a smile and hugged him tight. He hugged her back and rubbed her back "You're a great practioness in voodoo. You should be very proud. Your second gift will appear soon." He stepped away and sat on his rock again as everything around her turned white "Your family is waiting for you. I'll be with you, my child. Na we pita. (See you later)" The white soon faded to black once again and there was nothing but silence.



 "Is she okay?!" Charlie asked. "PLEASE BE ALRIGHT!!" Niffty shouted in fear. "Everyone please cease your shouting. Her vitals are fine...wait...I believe she's waking up." Baxter said. The feeling of being rubbed on the head was enough to get Luna to slowly open her eyes. She looked around and realized she was in Alastor's arms in the back of the limo Molly used to bring the others along, with everyone looking more at ease with her finally awake.

"TOOK YA LONG ENOUGH!" Angel yelled. "Shut the fuck up." Husk said back. Angel, Molly, Charlie, Bendy and Niffty hugged her tightly while everyone else looked at her with soft smiles. Alma was wrapped around Alastor but she gently nuzzled Luna's head as she was resting herself. The deer demon holding her had to shoo them off of her so she can have room to breathe, he then looked down and into his little magnolia's eyes continuing to rub her head "That was hotsy-totsy mon amour." 

"Al, your oldness is showing." Angel groaned with Vaggie and Husk saying in response "Angel shut the fuck up." "Your hair grew and and your face was painted!" "YOU WERE SHINY AND PRETTY!!" Niffty and Molly said with delight in her voice. "Your skills have certainly improved since we saw you last my friend." Puppet said with all of his friends nodding in agreement and Baxter agreed with Puppet. "Well said Puppet. Her skills seemed to have increased at least fifty percent." "I got ta ask ya, what kind of a weapon is dat?" "That's what that one spirit gave you right?" Bendy and Charlie asked, wondering about the weapon.

"Yes...you are given the right to have a staff with items that shows who you are...In my case...it's what you see on the staff..." Luna replied as she made her staff appear so they can see it. Charlie was the first to comment about it "I can see with most of it being of Louisiana traits...but...why the deer head and red marks on the skull?"

"Red is Papa Legba's color...and the markings are the same as mine and Alastor's when we use our powers...and I earned two new ones...because I've earned the title of voodoo queen..." Luna explained as she showed everyone the new veves on her skin. They looked at the veve and were amazed at how she had earned it along with a new title, however, no one was more amazed than the deer holding her. His thoughts were in remembrance of how much she had learned, not just from him, but from things she learned on her own. And now she earned the title as a voodoo queen, which was only given to a select few including Marie Laveau during his time. 'It seems we're equal in every way now mon amour~.'

"We should get back to the hotel now before things get crazy." Vaggie stated to Charlie. Charlie looked at Vaggie and nodded "Right, back to the hotel everyone!" All of the demons and animatronics somehow fit in the limo and set off for the hotel. Luna tried to sit up so Alastor can rest his arms but he gently pushed her back down shaking his head "You need to rest now mon amour. You deserve it after all that happened today. We'll be arriving at the hotel soon." The demoness nodded and curled up in his embrace, closing her eyes again, happy she was free of her father for good.




Months passed and before they knew it, it was Christmas time once again. Charlie asked in advance if there was anything new the staff wanted to try, and there was a unanimous vote to try other cultures when it came to certain things. For instance, there was Molly and Angel's Italian style main course, Baxter's and Vaggie's El Salvadorian and British desserts, and finally Luna and Alastor's story of "Cajun Night Before Christmas". The animatronics helped decorate with Husk supervising and Niffty and Bendy helped with dressing everyone up for the holiday season. They were in their own ways of course to keep things fair.

As everybody got things ready for the celebration, some of the staff couldn't help but notice something was off with Luna. Luna was helpful with cooking and cleaning as usual but in the last month, she hadn't been feeling well with nausea and such and now she seemed to be anxious, even though she was trying to hide it. The assumption was that this was from Alastor being gone for a few days on a business venture, at least that's what he told everyone. Surely he hadn't forgotten about tonight...right? Luna would check her phone constantly only to see more anxiety written on her face "3 days with no word from you...please be alright..."

Hearing this from a distance, Niffty and Bendy had had enough seeing her this way. So they finished early and Bendy stayed with Luna to help her take her mind off things while Niffty went to their room to contact Alastor herself. She used her own phone to call him repeatedly until he answered. Alastor was walking along the streets of Hell trying to ignore his phone. He was putting his surprise plan into action for later in the evening, but the repeat of phone calls made him answer after the fifth time, not able to concentrate. "Hello, Niffty dear! How i-"

"ALASTOR WHAT IS IT THAT YOU ARE DOING THAT IS SO IMPORTANT TO NOT LET LUNA KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALRIGHT?!" Niffty demanded to know. Alastor realized that he messed up by not saying anything to Luna the past few days, but there was a good reason for that "Niffty dear there's a go-" "Honestly Alastor I really hope there is a good reason because Luna is worried sick about you and is fearing the worst from you. How can you be so in-" Niffty interrupted before he interrupted her back "NIFFTY. Let me explain everything."

After several minutes of hearing the deer talk, Niffty's face went from anger to utter happiness "So that's why you were gone? I can't wait to see it!" "Yes dear, but you cannot tell anyone, even to Bendy, understand?" Alastor said satisfied that she understood what was really going on. "Yes I understand completely!" She said happily. "Good. I'll see at the hotel soon." Alastor said with confidence. "Okay Al! See you then!" Niffty said with both of them hanging up and her going back down to Bendy and Luna to hang out till later that night.



That evening, supper was all set for everyone in the dining hall and a good majority agreed to eat without Alastor present. The food Molly and Angel made was delicious and well-received, however, Charlie, Baxter, and Molly were worried when Luna didn't eat much of what was given to her on her plate. She loved Italian food but she was so preoccupied that she couldn't eat anything at the moment, even the desserts when they were offered at the table. Instead of eating, Luna took it upon herself to clean the dishes and the entire kitchen, much to Charlie's disappointment. 'Alastor where are you??' She thought to herself.

After a while, Charlie was leading everyone into the library for gifts when Alastor finally showed up through the front door "Al thank Hell you're back." "Excuse my lateness but I had to finish my errands before arriving back here." He said cheerfully "Now where is my little magnolia?" "She's in the kitchen cleaning after not eating anything." Vaggie said annoyed at his being late. He gave her a look that scared her a bit before saying to Charlie "Well this just won't do! I'll see to it that she eats." "Great! I'll get everyone settled in the living room and we can do gift exchange!" She said with excitement following Vaggie inside.

Luna leaned over mopping the floor of the kitchen and she couldn't help but ask herself out loud "How in the world did the sauce end up on the floor this far out?? Might be from Angel I suppose. I hope this will be clean enough for Charlie." She put the mop in the bucket of water suddenly feeling two arms wrapping around her waist followed by a voice "It will most certainly be enough mon amour"

She turned around and hugged Alastor tightly with a smile on her face making him smile widely "You're finally back" "Of course I am darling, now, to get some food into our stomachs." He said snapping his fingers, placing supper on the counter before them. It wasn't the Italian food but a rare treat around Christmas time making her smile "Turducken, I haven't seen this in years." " Let us enjoy this supper quickly. We don't want to keep the others waiting, you know." Alastor reminded her. They both ate at the breakfast nook quickly but taking their time before cleaning up and going to the library hand in hand.


Alastor sat down in a chair and pulled Luna down into his lap making sure she was comfortable. Niffty gave them the gifts they had been given from everyone else, including what Luna got for them as well. Everyone opened up their gifts and enjoyed them, including some new outfits for Puppet, Nightmare Freddy and friends, Nightmare Fredbear, and Nightmare too. Bendy got some outfits as well with a stock of ink and new dancing shoes. Luna's gifts to everyone were her homemade Louisiana desserts.

Soon it was time to clean up and there was one activity to do before bed, and that was Luna's Christmas story. Niffty, Chica, and Puppet cleaned up the library and had everyone settled down again before they turned to Luna. "Ready everyone?...Good. Now, this is a different version of the original story called "The Cajun Night Before Christmas"

Once the story was over, everyone said their goodnights, went to their rooms and Alastor and Luna went back home by town car.

The sound of silence in the night was peaceful throughout the mansion with Luna and Alastor getting ready for bed. Alastor waited for his amour to come back from the bathroom and waited in anticipation. He had actually been planning something important over the time he was away from his little magnolia and believed now was the right time to do it, he only hoped she would accept his gift. Luna had been planning something for Alastor as well and she also hoped he would accept the gift she had.

She walked out of the bathroom to hear soft Christmas jazz playing from his radio in the corner, with a motioning finger from her chevreuil sitting in the chair by the window. She walked along the floor with Alma watching from her new perch she got from Luna. Alastor stood up and had her sit in the chair, kissing and holding onto her hand "What is it Alastor?"

"Can I have your full attention please? For there's something I must ask." He said, receiving a nod in reply. "I want to say I really love you and thank you for all that you do and have done in the past. So please don't worry as on bended knee I go, I really really do love you as this ring I hope will show." He got down on one knee in front of Luna and in his hand appeared a beautiful ring, with a jewel that resembled her opal in every way in a black ring band. "Please do me the honor of becoming my wife, say that you will put up with me for all of your afterlife."

Luna was crying and covering her mouth, but she nodded and after an agonizing few seconds said "Yes!" Alastor pulled her close and kissed her with utmost passion before placing the ring on her left hand "You've made me the happiest demon in all of Hell mon amour." "I-I have something for you as well, wait here." Luna said standing up and having him sit once more. She walked into the walk-in closet and came back out with a small box wrapped in red and a black bow on top. She gave him the box and waited for his reaction to the gift inside.

He took the box and opened it with gentle care. Inside looked like a Christmas ornament. He chuckled at first seeing that it was just something simple for their Christmas tree until he picked it up and really looked at it making his eyes go wide. It was a clear plastic round ornament with a small white stick inside. On the outside were the words he never thought he'd read or hear- "You're going to be a Papa."

Alastor's eyes slowly looked at Luna, who nodded confirming that it was true. She cried happily and then for the first time Alastor cried tears of joy. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her more soft and loving this time laying a hand on her belly. "How? I thought you-" ''I know, so I went to see Doctor Euglap last week to confirm it. That's why I was so nauseous. He doesn't know how I was able to be pregnant but...I think I do. Papa Legba said after the battle I had that Mama Belle and Mama Bernadette gave me something which he passed along." She explained trying to control herself. "They gave you the ability to bear children..." He said realizing what that meant.

They hugged each other close with their shadows doing the same thing, and Alma wrapping them in a group hug and they remained in place for a few minutes when Luna yawned softly which Alastor heard clearly "I believe my wife/mother-to-be should get her beauty sleep." "My husband/father-to-be needs sleep as well." Luna reminded him. He picked her up gently and carried her to the bed, setting her down carefully before laying down beside her. He snapped the lights off and wrapped his arms gingerly around her body, nuzzling at her belly. Luna giggled softly realizing he'll be doing this for the next several months.

"Merry Christmas mon chevreuil." "Merry Christmas mon amour." They said to each other allowing the joy-filled night to allow them a peaceful slumber on this night in Hell.
