Jose walked hurriedly into the study.

“There’s a call for you, boss,” he said holding the phone out to her. Not everyone had her personal number, very few did. If they wanted to talk to her, they called through Jose. There was a phone with him for that sole reason.

“Who is it?” Jack asked not looking up from her computer.

“John.”

“Put him on speaker,” she said.

Jose put him on speaker and said, “You can speak now John.”

“Boss,” a voice said.

“Straight to the point,” Jack said calmly.

“Police, underground club. Outskirts of LA.”

Jack paused what she was doing and looked up.

“How?”

“We don't know. They just stormed the building suddenly. They must have been tipped off of this location. They're still here.”

Jack sighed as she got to her feet. Every now and then they had a run in with the police, it was a normal thing. But, she had promised Diego she would do something about the cops. Time to fulfill that promise.

“Keep them away from the store room. I'm on my way.”

Jose cut the call and glanced at her.

“You seem calm,” he pointed out.

She ignored his earlier statement, “Go call Angela, we're going there now.”

Angela could take out ten men on her own without breaking a sweat.

Jose turned and jogged out of the room. Running up the stairs to her room, Jack jumped on her bed and walked to the painting of the giraffe right above the headboard. She pushed it aside revealing her safe. Punching in a code, a small metal door opened. In it were weapons, but not just any weapons.

Lethal weapons designed by Alejandro, her cousin.

Jack pulled out two guns and turned it over in her hands. She could feel the energy hum through them. She hadn't used them before, but she couldn't wait to find out what they did.

Alejandro said one was similar to a blue giant. But she wasn't trying to obliterate the cops, so she dropped it. The other was a tranquilizer, it worked instantly. Worse than a normal dart gun, kinda messed with the mind.

Perfect for what she had in mind.

Tugging on her leather jacket, she walked out of the house. Anna was seated in the driver seat of the Jeep with Jose beside her.

“Go there now, I'll meet you,” Jack said as she strapped on her helmet.

Angy didn't wait twice before she reversed and shot out of the gates.

Jack followed shortly after on her motorcycle, she could see the Jeep in the distance.

Changing routes, she took a short cut to the building on the outskirts of LA. Right beside the structure was a scrap yard. The building looked deserted during the daytime, but at night, it turned into a beehive of activities. Hiding her motorcycle in the scrapyard, she took out a gun and approached the building. Angy hadn't arrived yet.

There were about three police cars outside, but there weren't any officers. They were all inside. Taking the back door instead, she entered. Creeping forward she paused as she heard the commotion. Angy would help them, her goal was to make sure the cops didn't find the store room. There were a lot of valuables in it.
