To explain my whole life and the events that led me to this moment would take a lot of time. So I'll talk about the important topics and specifics to help support my findings and evidence of why I want this opportunity to be on a journey of a lifetime.

"Little one," I heard a soft voice say as the gently nudged me awake. "Serena, get up sweetheart. We have to get ready for school."

"Mhmp." I responded, hearing that person loud and clear, but choosing to ignore them.

"Serena." PJ sound loudly, which caused my eyes to pop open. "Get up!"

"Geez can you not scare her awake!" Auggie said equally as loud, forgetting his point. "I was trying not to frazzle her you stupid dipshit."

I rubbed my face and hissed, "Husshhhh! God!"

I sat up slowly and scratched the side of my head. "I'm awake and PJ is a stupid dipshit." I agreed with Auggie and he laughed along with me.

"Hey!" PJ protested, furrowing his eyebrows together. "I was just trying to help..."

"You are right, PJ. I'm sorry you aren't a stupid dipshit. Just an efficient dipshit." I corrected myself and he frowned, walking out of the room while me and Auggie fell out into laughter.

That's how my first day of Senior started off. If I knew what I'd knew now, I wouldn't have gotten out of bed that morning. I would have done everything differently and first start off with this eerily happy day of school.

I walked out of my room fully dressed and I have to say I look pretty cute. I won't go into details, but just trust me when I say, I wasn't the worst I could have been. I sat down in my usual place and a plate of breakfast was placed in my face.

"Eat all of it." my dad warned me in a low tone and I huffed. During this time junior year and the summer time, I have developed an eating disorder. Fortunately, after some intense therapy and support from my loved ones I became confident in the way I looked. Truly it was my family and friends that got me through tough moments. Come to think of it, they are the only reason why I am still moving forward.

I rolled my eyes and promised him, "I promise I'm being healthy, but this is way too much food, dad."

He gave me the death stare and I knew that look meant that breakfast was not up for discussion. I sighed and nodded my head, accepting this. Auggie came downstairs with a wide smile on his face. Over the summer, he like four inches taller from this previous summer and so did PJ.

He looked over at me and smiled, leaning over to kiss my forehead. "Make sure you eat all of it, alright?" he almost begged, looking at me with a seriousness he doesn't usually have. I looked at his plate and he almost had double the amount as me.

I nodded my head and pressed my lips into a thine line. My family was there to make sure my eating habits remained healthy because without them I would have certainly reverted back to old ways. They were my anchor.
