I did not know I needed to see him. But he was another factor to make my future incredibly clear.
It was At...
Atlas.
We was standing there in my doorstep as debonair as ever. As handsome as ever with a smile on his face. "Miss me?" was all he said and before he even had the chance to continue, I threw myself onto him.
My legs wrapping around his waist, my arms wrapped around his neck. His arms embraced my waist as I heard a familiar chuckle. His laugh rippled through his body, causing me to feel the vibration through my body.
My eyes closed shut in contempt and smile grew on my face.
Atlas.
We were like that for a long moment before Seraphina cleared her throat. He gently put me down and we both gave a shy smile to Seraphina who had somewhat a guilty smile on her face. "I didn't mean to interrupt, but your dad wants to know what kind of takeout you want?" she asked, scratching the back of her neck. "Also, hey Atlas!"
He mock saluted her and I just quickly called out, "Thai."
She took her answer and scurried away.
"What are you doing here?" I quickly diverted my attention to him and smiled down at me. He made my heart do a couple of summersaults. Just as it always did. The familiarity was diminishing my ability to be able distinguish previous love and current love. The lines were getting blurry by the second, every second he stood in my doorframe.
"What I can't just casually drop by to see my princessa?" he questioned with raised eyebrows and a mischievous smirk. At my nickname, I literally melted and my eyes softened for him.
"You know you are welcome anytime, but I want to know the real reason..."
His smirk morphed into a soft smile. "I heard about Evita and I wanted to check on you. Given our history, a phone call or text message just felt impersonal... it just felt messed up really. So I hopped on a flight to see you my princessa."
As I said... blurry, blurry, blurry.

A couple of hours have passed and I was pretty sure Atwood wasn't coming, which wasn't a bad thing. It was bad because we all needed to talk, especially with everything that went down today, but I was happy to see Atlas. Dividing attention between Atwood, Angel, and Atlas would have been damn near impossible.
So my dad came in, saw the display and quickly made an exit. He went to his room accompanied by mom. However, mom gave a suggestive look and offered he would stay for dinner. Of course, Atlas being a gentleman and being respectful, he graciously agreed, giving us plenty of time to catch up.
