Now imagine explaining that to all of my cousins who just so happened to come into town today. Okay, it wasn't a coincidence. Beau had announced our engagement to my family and they just knew it wasn't true.

So now, I am sitting in front of them explaining to them that they can't stop me. This statement set Xander and Davy off, "Like hell we can!" Xander shouted loudly, causing my ears to hurt a little.

"I will be damned if I see you off to that fucker and I would rather sit my bare ass in boiling water than to see you join The Order!" Davy took it to the next level and stood directly in front of me. "When Beau mentioned that shit to me, I nearly had a heart attack and now you are telling me that you are going through with it anyways?!"

"What do you mean when Beau told you?" BJ asked Davy with raised eyebrows. In that moment, Davy knew he told on himself.

I squeezed my eyes closed and winced at how stupid that was.

Davy titled his head back and looked up at the ceiling. Maybe he was asking the heavens for strength because he surely was going to need it.

As I explained, Xander was all tense so he continued to get more and more upset, "What the fuck does it mean Davy?!"

He snatched Davy up by the collar of his shirt and he looked like he would hit him if something stupid was said. West couldn't even intervene because he was curious about the statement too.

Davy sang like a canary because he knew there was no way out of this. After the explanation, Xander let go and just looked at him with his lips parted. "You let her anywhere near him!" West yelled at his little brother.

"What the actual fuck is wrong with you." Auggie said nodding his head slowly in shock. "He could have killed her and that would have been on you."

"Perris was with me, she was safe." Davy promised them all, which dug a deeper hole for this situation.

"Perris was there?!" West asked as if he doesn't believe that. West didn't even bother looking at Davy anymore, he just looked at his best friend with a look a betrayal. He looked at Perris the way that Seraphina looked at me.

Perris didn't even change his expression. Just as indifferent as always. "I never agreed with not asking for help."

"I never asked for your fucking opinion Perris!" West cursed loudly at his best friend with tense muscles.

"And that right there is the problem." Perris laughed a little, nodding his head. "We don't have time for your overbearing protective bullshit. We needed results fast and your way was taking too long. If it were for you, she would still be in the shit cabin."

West looked like he was about to punch Perris square in the jaw. So I spoke up to keep this clean.

During this conversation, I received a message from Atlas. It was him and it made me smile. He told me he wanted to talk to me. I hadn't heard from him in weeks and now he wants to talk to me. Strange.

I went back into the conversation and my words into it.

"It doesn't matter what happened then. I'm talking about what's going to happen tomorrow. I'm going to marry him and that's final." I folded my arms across my chest and set my boundary. "You can't control this."

"Last I checked, you are 17!" KJ yelled this time at me, nodding his head. "You can't get married without parental consent and I would love to see Uncle H get a load of the bull fuckery."

"Last I checked, I'll be 18 in December. My dad isn't going to change my mind nor is your little loose threat." I put my foot down and did my best to posture. "I don't need consent nor comments."
