It had been a couple of days, and Toni was getting out of the hospital. She couldn't do a lot of things until her bones were fully heeled, like cheer, gym class, dance, a lot of the things she did on a daily. "C'mon missy..." Jeremy said.
"I told you to stop calling me that."
"I also told you not to talk back, now apologize."
"Your not my dad, and never will be." Toni said, annoyed, and tired. She hadn't had a good nights rest in a long time.
"Someone needs a nap."
"Shut the fuck up, I'm not a fucking baby."
Jeremy slapped her across the face. "I'm tired of this fucking attitude! Go straight to your fucking room when we get home!" He yelled.
Toni was silent. She hated her life. Well not all of it. Just the assholes in it. One being Jeremy.
"Someone's quiet now. Who knew a slap to the face would get you to shut the fuck up."
They got home, and Toni walked in, Jeremy stopped her. "Give daddy a hug." He said.
"The fuck? No you fucking put me in the
hospital, your being a fucking weirdo." She ran up to her room, and locked the door behind her. She knew she probably wouldn't be leaving anytime soon...
"Toni! You think you can call me a weirdo to my face and get away with it!" Jeremy yelled. "Get your ass over here now!"
Toni just laid in her bed and closed her eyes, she knew Jeremy wouldn't be happy, but if she was sleeping she couldn't feel pain anyways. Eventually he stopped screaming and Toni finally got to sleep. She finally got to have a good sleep.
Toni woke up to someone stroking through her hair lightly, she opened her eyes to see her mom. "Mom, what are you doing back already?" She hugged her.
"Well I just felt bad, because my baby was in the hospital while I was at work."
"Oh, yeah. What time is it, I don't know where my phone went..."
"Uh," she looked at her watch, "12:43 am."
"Oh... I missed you."
"I missed you too, now go back to sleep, we'll look for your phone in the morning."
"Okay, goodnight."
"Goodnight pumpkin."
Violet walked down stairs, and Jeremy handed her Toni's phone. "Thanks where did you find it?"
"I left it here, when I found her, I guess." Jermey let out a light laugh.
"You guess?" Violet furrowed her eyebrows.
"Well, I was in such a hurry that I kinda just did some things and..." He trailed off.
"I love you. Thank you for taking care of Toni." Violet hugged him.
"It's no problem for me, I love you too."

Once it was morning, Toni got woken up by Jeremy, and his nice voice. "Hey sweetie, it's time to get up."
Toni opened her eyes, and Jeremy was sitting on her bed, while her mom stood in the door way. "Okay, I'm up." She mumbled. She sat up, and saw her phone on her nightstand on the charger. Jeremy and her mom walked out, while she got dressed, and ready for school.
Meanwhile...
"Cher... Cher wake up, it's time for school hurry."
Cheryl groaned and opened her eyes. "I was thinking about skipping... I'm tired."
"You were the one talking about how were actually at a decent school now, and now you don't want to go." Jason looked at her. "C'mon get up, I'll make you toast."
"Fine."
She got ready for school, grabbed her jacket, and walked out. Jason handed her a piece of toast, and they were on there way.
"Cher, look who's here..." Jason pointed.
Cheryl looked in a direction, and saw Toni Topaz standing at her locker, but before she could walk over there she was stopped. "Blossoms, take the jackets off." She looked behind her, and it was Sweet Pea, as usual.
"Why? It's not harming anyone, in any way shape or form." Jason said.
"It's harming my eyes."
"Your dumb ass letterman jacket is hurting my eyes, you don't see me complaining." Cheryl said.
"Shut the fuck up, I earned this jacket, I be-" Jason cut him off.
"We earned these too, your argument makes no sense, come on." Jason pulled Cheryl away. She walked over to Toni, and stood beside her.
Little did she know Toni Topaz has the biggest crush on her too, but she can't let anyone know that.
"Serpent scum... to what do I owe the pleasure."
"Uh, well. I'm no mathematician, but I'm pretty good with numbers. Give me yours and let me show you what I can do."
Toni giggled. She didn't mean to let it out, it just happened.
Cheryl gasped. "Did Toni Topaz just giggle?"
"Perhaps you did. Here, put your number in my phone." She handed Cheryl her phone. Cheryl put her number in her phone, and her contact as 'Cheryl🍒🐍'
"See ya," Cheryl blew a kiss and walked away.
"What did the snake want?" Fangs asked.
"Why do you care Fangs?" Toni turned to face him, as she shut her locker door.
"Just wondering..."
"It's none of your business. I gotta go to.... uhh...gym," Toni walked off. Fangs was confused, how was she gonna do gym with a broken arm?

The rest of the school day went by, nothing exciting happened. Just the usual serpent and bulldog fights, and high school drama going on.
When Toni got home from school, her mom was getting ready for something. She was dressed nice so it must if been serious. "Mom, where are you going?"
"I have a dinner with a few business associates, Jeremy will be here, I'm sure you'll have fun."
"I-Ca-Why?" Toni stuttered, it was like she forgot how to speak for a second.
"For business, anyways, I have to get going. I love you." She kissed Toni on her head, and left. Toni didn't hesitate to run to her room, and lock the door.
"Oh, Toni..." Jeremy called, dragging out her name.... "I know your little friend knows some things." He laughed. Toni felt her heart drop. She didn't know what to do now, but she knew it was only gonna be a few hours before her mom got home, so whatever he had planned wouldn't be to bad.
