Today Violet was coming home. Well, the hospital. She was beating herself up over the fact that she hurt her daughter for almost 14 years. Well, she wasn't really doing the hurting, she just failed to realize what was really going on. How her daughter was never shy. She was scared. Scared of what would of happened if she told her mother her step father beats her up.

She just fell under his spell, and the lies Toni told. How did she not realize what was going on? How did she not realize her daughter never being herself? How did she not realize her daughter's fake smile? She's her own mother for god sakes.

She got into town really late at night, around 2:33 a.m. She got to the hospital, and stopped at the front desk, "Topaz." She told the lady.

"Yes, let me see here...room 304." The lady smiled.

"Thanks."

She walked to the room, and saw Toni lying there. Peacefully sleeping. Cheryl sleeping on the cot not to far from the bed. Violet sat in the armchair, and held Toni's hand.

A nurse walked in to "check up" on Toni. "Hello, I'm assuming your Mrs. Topaz. I'm Nick, Toni's nurse." He smiled.

"Yes, I am." Violet replied. Toni began to stir and woke up. She saw Nick and froze.  "Honey? Are you okay?"

"Get out." She told Nick.

"Sweetie, that's your nurse."

"I said get out!" Toni yelled. Cheryl woke up, and looked around and saw Nick.

"You might wanna leave if you wanna keep that pretty boy face of yours."

"GIRLS!" Violet yelled. They both looked over. "What the hell is going on?"

"Nick made up some story that got Toni put in restraints." Cheryl narrowed her eyes at Nick. "He said Toni tried to run away, when she didn't."

"Toni, is this true?"

"Why would Cheryl lie?" Toni snapped. She was irritated that Nick wasn't leaving.

"I didn't do such a thing. Think about it, she's on heavy medication, I'm not." Nick scoffed. "Why would I make up such a story."

Violet has trusted people over her daughter to many times, and she certainly wasn't going to make that mistake again. "Out." She pointed to the door.

Nick walked out, and Toni sighed in relief.

"Toni I need to talk to you...alone." Violet looked at Cheryl. Cheryl got up and walked into the hallway, and sat on the ground. Once she was gone Violet began. "Why didn't you tell me about Jeremy?"

"I don't know. You guys were so happy together." A tear rolled down her cheek. "I didn't want to ruin it."

"Toni... your happiness is much more important to me. Especially if you are being hurt. I need to know next time. Or when it happens."

"B-But Jeremy would th-threaten me, a-and take m-my phone. He said you d-didn't c-care, and n-no one could l-love a f-fag like me." Toni began to cry. Hard.

"I love you. I love you more than anything." Violet kissed Toni on the head.

"I'm not gonna be back till later, I have to drop some clothes off at the house." Cheryl pecked Toni's lips.

"Okay..." Toni pouted. "Bye."

"Bye." Cheryl walked out of the room, and headed to her motorcycle.

"So, how's Toni today?" Betty asked.

"Good. Her mom came home last night, and today is her first day at-" Cheryl stopped herself. She knew Toni wouldn't want people knowing this. She definitely wanted to keep it private. "She's good."

"Where was her mom again?" Veronica questioned.

"China, I have no clue why."

Then the bell rang, but before Cheryl could head to first Mr. Weatherbee stopped her. "Blossom!"

"If you need to do a locker search, you won't find anything. Just telling you now." Cheryl turned around to face him.

"No, I need to talk to you. Come to my office."

"Did I do something wrong?" Cheryl sighed. "Because I haven't been late... and I only missed half a day."

"Ms.Blossom, Mr, and Mrs. Reager told me about your dyslexia.."

Cheryl rolled her eyes. "Really? Fascinating. Are we done?"

"And I just wanted to tell you that we have a special english class if you'd like to switch."

"No thanks, see you around." Cheryl walked out. She was mad. How could her foster parents betray her like that. She told them she didn't want to tell anyone and what did they do? Told.

Meanwhile at the hospital...

Toni was trying to go to the bathroom with no help. Which probably wasn't the best idea because of her back, but you don't know till you try....right? Her mom was in the cafeteria, so she wanted to see if she could do it today. She successfully made it to the bathroom, and did her business. Once she was done, she decided she wanted to open the window. As she was opening the window, no other than Nick walked in again.

"Trying to jump?" He grabbed her by the arm, and tugged her towards the bed. Toni screamed in pain. "Shut it." He then threw her on the bed, and her back still not healed yet she groaned in pain. "Guess I'm gonna have to notify Doctor Masters, and actually have you on suicide watch. Back to the restraints we go." Nick hit the call button, and another nurse walked in. "This girl tried to jump out of the window."

"I'll get Doc."

Toni was crying. Her body was hurting, and no one cared. She wasn't even out of the window, Nick just wanted to torture her.

The doctor, and her mom walked in. "Toni, what is going on?" The doctor asked.

"M-My back." Toni whimpered.

"Honey, what happened?" Violet ran over to her.

"I tr-tried to o-open the w-window, a-and th-the n-nurse threw m-me in m-my bed."

Violet was angry. The doctors rolled Toni out to get scans for her back, but before Nick could follow Violet stopped him.

"I'm not sure you know this, but I am one of the most powerful people in Riverdale, and if you don't stop harassing my daughter, I will get your medical license taken away." Violet was actually going to do it, she just wanted him to think he has a chance.

Nick scoffed. He wasn't taking her seriously. Nick was sexist, and believed women could never have the power a man could, and thought they belonged in kitchens.

"You know what, fine. I'm just gonna go ahead and do it. Your free to go."
