From Different Worlds

Chapter 20

"Toni, your uncle is coming to town, but is bringing Juniper." Violet said walking into Toni's room. Cheryl fell asleep on Toni's chest. "Oh, didn't know you had company."

"Yeah, mom it's fine. Juniper is a little weird though." Toni was stroking Cheryl's hair.

"I know, but it's only for two weeks." Violet's side of the family were a little weird. Toni groaned in response.

Violet walked out, and Toni went back to reading her book. After about thirty minutes Toni started to get bored. Cheryl was still sleeping. She decided to wake her up. "Princess." She whispered, as she kissed Cheryl's forehead.

Cheryl groaned and opened her eyes. "What time is it?" Toni thought Cheryl's morning voice was the cutest thing in the world.

"two thirty six."

Cheryl just cuddled into Toni's chest more, and closed her eyes again.

"Babe, you can't fall asleep again." Toni huffed.

"Why?" Cheryl pouted.

"Because, I'll be bored."

"We can always nap together."

"Yeah, we could..."

Next thing you know they're both asleep, and Cheryl was spooning Toni.

Violet came in and noticed both girls asleep, closed the door and went downstairs to the door. "Yeah, sorry they're busy."

"Oh, thanks anyways." Heather said. Heather was planning something, it wasn't good...

After about a half an hour, Toni woke up, and noticed she was late for speech. "Shit!" She whisper yelled. She shook Cheryl awake. "Cher wake up."

"Hmm," Cheryl hummed.

"I'm late and have to leave." Toni said jumping up to put decent clothes on. It was saturday, so she was in pajama's all day.

Cheryl got up and looked around, "late for what?"

"Speech," Toni said pulling up her pants. "Cher, can you hand me that."

"Hmm, what?" When Cheryl wakes up, it takes her a few minutes to actually wake up.

"Hand me the thing that holds up my pants." Toni pointed to the belt that was on her dresser.

"The belt."

"Yeah, belt."

Toni basically dragged Cheryl down the stairs. "Bye mom, were leaving."

"I have to go to The Reager's. See you after?" Cheryl put on her helmet.

"Yeah." Toni pecked Cheryl's lips, and headed to the building. When she got there, she waited at her doctor's office for her session, when a familiar person walked in and saw her. Peaches. "Toni! What are you doing here?"

"Uhh, nothing. Just waiting." Toni looked away awkwardly. "Why are you here?"

"To pick up my little brother. You go to speech?"

"I suffered a brain injury, so yes I do, but if you tell anyone, I'll make sure your life is a living hell." Toni narrowed her eyebrows. "Do we understand each other?"

"Y-Yeah, my lips are sealed."

"Toni Topaz!" The therapist called.

She got up, and went into the office.

Reager's House...

Cheryl walked in, and to her surprise Jason was there. "JJ what are you doing here already?"

"I came early to help dad build a dresser." Jason was sitting in one of the barstools at the counter.

Dad? Jason called Mr. Reager dad? Cheryl was no where near that point yet. She tried not to get to attached because if she did and they left...she didn't know what would happen.

"So, Cheryl what are you doing here? I see you don't have clothes with you. Did you need anything?" Mrs. Reager asked.

"No, my girlfriend is just busy, and I was bored, so I came here."

"Oh, well I'm baking muffins, wanna help?"

"Yes! I love baking." Cheryl said excitedly.

Toni walks out of speech, and is about to get in her car when she gets stopped. "Toni Topaz, going to speech therapy, who would of thunk it?" She turns around to see Heather.

"Heather." She says unfazed. "What the hell do you want?"

"Cheryl. That's what I want. And your gonna come with me, and were gonna go get her."

"Yeah, in your dreams. She's mine." Toni scoffs.

"Really?" Heather pulls out a gun. "Now, I'm gonna say this again, your coming with me, or I can leave you here, with a bullet in your head."

"Bitch, there's people around. You'd get arrested."

Heather loads the gun, and drew it on Toni.

"Okay! Okay, I'll go."

"Great, tell your girlfriend to meet you by sweet water river." Heather says as she pushes Toni in her car.

Toni called Cheryl, and told her to meet her there.
