Cheryl's life wasn't the easiest. Being taken away from your drunken, and high parents all the time wasn't the best for a child. But, there was always that tiny part inside her that wanted to believe her parents tried their best. Even if they were high or drunk.
She also met a lot of people over the years. She has been to numerous foster homes, some abusive, some only doing it for the money, and some who loved her, but her parents got their shit together, and she went back to them. But... Then they'd loose it again. Once again finding a different home, and starting over. Cheryl when she was younger thought that whoever made life, was just clicking the replay button. Making her start from the beginning, going through the stages of foster care, court ect. Then once she got to the finish, the person would click replay.
It sucked. Her life sucked. Until a few months ago, when she turned 16, and decided to run away, that way if her parents could be out of her life. Completely. Except the fact that she has gotten caught.
Cheryl liked living alone. She could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. That is if she had the money for it. Cheryl was way behind on bills, as most people are in the trailer park. So, her money would always go to those. Sometimes she didn't eat, maybe she ate something that was expired, she didn't really care, because she needed food. Sometimes Jason would bring whatever he, and his friends had for her. Either way, she liked living alone. Her trailer was like her own space. She could decorate it however she wanted, and do whatever she with it. No one could tell her otherwise. She did have a spare mattress and a extra room, so if Jason, or someone needed a place to stay for the night she had that. Also the couch, but it was so worn out that it wasn't very comfortable to sleep on.
Jason lived with Archie, and Reggie. They lived in the trailer next to Cheryl's, so Jason would either stay with them some nights, or Cheryl's. He comes and checks to make sure she's awake every morning, most of the time she not, and either makes, or brings her breakfast. Betty lives on the other side of the trailer park, and Veronica lives next to her. Betty and Veronica come over sometimes, or go to Pop's, or they hang out at the Wyrm. Cheryl goes to the Wyrm to work at night sometimes, but only when she's really struggling with bills, or food. Cheryl was currently getting ready to go with Betty and Veronica to Pop's for a girls day. They considered themselves as big bad gang members, but they all have this real soft side to them that nobody see's. Only the people who are close to them, see that side.
"Cher..." Veronica whined. "Were only going to Pop's who cares what you look like."
"Okay, okay, I'm just putting on some lipstick, and we can go."
"Okay, Betty said she's already there so..." Veronica trailed off.
"Okay, I'm ready."
They headed off to Pop's and saw Betty sitting at a booth.
"Hey, girlies."
"Hey, Betts." Veronica and Cheryl said.
"How's your mom?" Cheryl asked.
"Bad. Medical bills are stacking up, and we hardly have any money to buy food." Betty said as Cheryl and Veronica sat down.
"I'm sorry."
"Anyways, how are you guys?"
"Good, I met a hot guy." Veronica said.
"Ohhh, who?" Cheryl asked.
"Okay, don't be mad..."
"Okay, go on..." Cheryl raised a brow.
"Sweet Pea." She blurted.
"That guy has it out for me.... But, I guess since you one of my besties... I'll support you." Cheryl smiled.
"Thank you."
"So tell us what he's like." Betty said.
"Well, he's sweet, under all his pride. Funny, handsome...."
"Betts how are you and Jughead?" Cheryl asked.
Betty blushed. "He's amazing."
The three girls sat and talked, laughed, just enjoyed each other's company. They talked about boys, and girls, gossiped about school drama, and talked about future careers. Only Veronica, and Betty knew what Cheryl wanted to be when she grows up. Not even Jason knew.
"Oh shit, I gotta go, my mom..."
"It's okay Betty, we understand." Cheryl said.
"Yeah, see ya."
"Bye you guys." Betty waved, walking out of Pop's.
"So..." Veronica started. "You and Toni?"
"Yeah, we haven't set up another date yet, she's busy I guess. Or maybe she just doesn't like me."
"Not uh. Don't talk like that... Go after her. She definitely likes you. I always see her staring at you when you actually attend math class."
"Huh, might have to actually go sometime... Also I didn't want to say anything when Betty was here because she has enough stress. But Wheatherbee wants me to go a foster home."
"What the hell? He can't even do that can he?"
"He's worried about me not having any adults that I'm wasting my life away or some shit."
"Oh, your not going are you?"
"Hell no. I bought a trailer for a reason. Not to put it to waste."
"I hate Weatherbee."
