It was the next day, Cheryl and Toni were in math class. Of course Cheryl wasn't paying attention, she was busy thinking about what she did, why did Toni break up with her? "Blossom!" The teacher snapped her out of her thoughts. "What's the answer to 37?"
"You know calling on me is waisting everyone's time." Cheryl twirled her hair around her finger not looking up at the teacher.
"Just try."
"Okay, my favorite number 53." She smirked.
"Not quite. Ms. Topaz, how about you?" The teacher said. Cheryl looked over at Toni.
"-23."
"Correct. Ms. Lodge, 38?"
"I accidentally spilt water on my paper, and my answers got ruined." Veronica lifted her paper to show everyone.
"Okay, I'll get you a knew one after class. Mr. Blossom."
"13." Jason excelled in math. They didn't put him in honors classes mainly because he didn't want to be, and they thought he could help his sister if they are in the same class.
"Correct. Nice job that was a hard one."
Cheryl went back to what she was doing. Not paying attention of course, when the teacher called on her again, she sighed heavily. "This is an easy one Ms. Blossom."
"No, I'm actually a Leo."
The class laughed, and teacher just stood there. Then the bell rang, and Cheryl went to her dented locker, and pulled out the books she probably never opened and headed to her free period. She always grabs the books so it looks like she's doing something important when she's not. Her and Veronica just sit and talk, or mess around somewhere in the school.

Toni was at home sitting in her bed, staring, holding the frog Cheryl gave her in the hoodie she took. After school it's the same thing, cheer, go home, ignore mom's stupid questions, put on Cheryl's hoodie, lay in bed, and cry. She hardly eats anything. She sometimes eats at lunch but that's it. Toni was miserable. Violet knocked on her door, and she ignored it. "Toni. I'm leaving to go to the store do you want anything?"
Toni just rolled on her side. She heard Violet walk away, and she cried. Cried over everything. Did anyone care? Did anyone care if she was miserable? Maybe they didn't. They probably wouldn't care anyways. Cheryl hates her, most people at school hate her, everyone hates her. She knew it probably wasn't a good idea to think like this, but she couldn't stop herself. The horrid thoughts popping in her head. She called the one person who probably didn't want to talk to her, but she needed someone to talk to.
"Hello?"
"H-Hi.."
"Toni? Are you crying? Is everything okay?"
"N-No, I d-don't th-think I c-can do this a-anymore."
"What?"
"Live."
"Toni don't think like that. I know people care about you and love you. I know because I'm one of them. Just please Toni try not to let those thoughts get to you. I love you okay?"
"O-Okay... I'm s-sorry for bothering you."
"Toni, don't be sorry. I'm glad you called me. Just please promise me you wont go there. I need you here." Cheryl sighed. "Have you eaten today?"
"N-No."
"Toni...You can't be doing this. Get ready were going to Pop's."
"But-"
"No, buts. I'll be there in 20."
And with that she hung up. Toni got up, took off the hoodie, and got ready. She wasn't in the best mood obviously, and she didn't feel like eating either. Cheryl called her and told her she was there. Toni walked out, and saw Cheryl standing against her truck. She pulled Toni into her embrace, and Toni began to cry again. "I-I'm sorry Ch-Cheryl."
"Hey...you didn't do anything wrong. You have nothing to be sorry about."
"Why are you being nice, even though I dumped you through text?" Toni asked, as she sat across from Cheryl at Pop's.
"I don't know." Cheryl mumbled silently. She really didn't know why. Maybe to ask why she broke up with her? Or try to get back together? She didn't know.
Cheryl looked up at Toni, and noticed the necklace she gave her. The little C dangling from the gold chain around her neck. "Why'd you break up with me?" It just fell out of her mouth. She didn't even realize what she said till a few seconds after.
"My mom threatened you. Said if I didn't she'd take your foster parents license away, and you'd be actually homeless. I didn't want that..."
"We could always date...secretly." Cheryl whispered to herself, but Toni heard.
"Yeah, we could..."
Cheryl's eyes went wide. "You heard that?"
"Yeah."

Toni walked through the door of her house, and went to walk up the stairs but her mom began talking. "Where were you?"
Toni narrowed her eyes at her, than walked up the stairs, and locked herself in her room.
"Toni. Please talk to me..." She heard her mom through the door. "What did I even do wrong?"
Was her mom really asking her that right now? Was she actually that stupid? Toni got up and opened the door. "What you did wrong?" Toni laughed. "What you did wrong is you made Cheryl homeless, you forced me to break up with her. Cheryl hasn't fucking slept because she's sleeping behind some fucking old trailer! She's fucking broke, and hasn't eaten either. But you were so fucking selfish that you could care less. She worked for that trailer, and paid her bills, but you had to take it away from her. So leave me the fuck alone!" Toni slammed the door in her face.
