I just ignored whoever is behind those flowers and letter. I have more significant issues to deal with rather than wasting my time thinking about this 'secret admirer'. Pumunta na ako sa practice. Sigurado ay wala pa sila Ash at Cindy dahil may klase pa sila. Hahabol na lang siguro.

Pagkarating ko sa gym, kakaunti pa lang ang tao at wala pa rin si Ate Jaxien. Tinignan ko ang relo at 4:45 pm pa lang. Medyo napaaga pala ako. I started a conversation with the other candidates in the gym while waiting for Ate Jaxien. We were casual even if we are to compete for the pageant. Last 2 days na lang at competition na. Ang bilis ng mga araw. Ilang saglit pa ay naisipan ko na i-dm si Cindy.

To Cindylicious:

Hey, are you coming?

After a few minutes, nag-reply naman siya.

From Cindylicious:

Yasss. Hang on, gonna excuse myself. This class is really boring! I'll also bring Ash.

Nagulat ako sa sagot ni Cindy. What the hell? Aabsent siya para manood ng practice namin? This girl. Napa-iling na lang ako kay Cindy. Idadamay pa si Ash. Maya maya lang ay dumating na rin si Ate Jaxien kaya magsisimula na kami.

"Hello girls! Were you waiting for so long? I'm sorry, may inasikaso pa kasi ako. Anyway, shall we start?"

"Yes po," sabay sabay naming sagot.

Pinapuwesto na kami ni Ate Jaxien para sa introduction. Nang pinapila kami ay bigla ko napansin na wala pa si Thea. I raised my hand to asked Ate Jaxien. "Ah, Ate Jaxien! Thea is still not here. Should we wait for her?"

"Oh, si Ms. Cruz, right? Ah maybe we can—" Natigil ang pagsasalita ni Ate Jaxien nang hingal na hingal na pumasok ng gym si Thea.

"Hey, uhm..." Hinahabol pa rin n'ya ang hininga. "I'm sorry po, I just finished my class in my major subject."

"It's fine. Pumunta ka na sa puwesto mo." Ate Jaxien smiled at her.

"Okay. 5, 6, 7, 8 and go!" Pagkasabi no'n ni Ate Jaxien ay tumugtug na ang music at nagsimula na ang production number. The steps were made easy yet it gives off energy and impact.

"Energy!" sigaw ni Ate Jaxien kaya mas humataw pa ako sa pagsayaw.

It was tiring yet I enjoyed the production number. Now it's time to introduce ourselves. The candidate number one introduced herself first then the following candidates until it's my turn.

"Good evening, everyone! This is Jane Bellatrix Dixon..." Pagkatapos ko ay nagsunod-sunod na ang iba pang candidates.

After the introduction, Ate Jaxien gathered us to announce something. "Okay so girls, kahapon ko lang naka-usap 'yong coach ng Mr. STI. He told me that their sequence is by department. So para magka-parehas na lang, gano'n din kayo," she explained.

Ipinakita niya sa amin ang bago naming puwesto. Napunta ako sa may gilid para sa production number at huli na ako sa introduction. After explaining our positions, pinapunta na kami ni Ate Jaxien sa positions namin.

"Okay in 5, 6, 7, 8 and pasok!"

Tuloy tuloy lang kami sa pagsayaw habang nakabantay si Ate Jaxien. "Ms. Tolentino, energy! Galaw galaw kitang kita ka."

Nagulat ako ng biglang itinigil ni Ate Jaxien ang music. "Ms. Dixon, makipagpalit ka kay Ms. Tolentino para sa production number. Ikaw sa gitna. Everyone, dance with energy to give impact to the judges as well as to your audiences," saad niya.

Well, it boosts my confidence even more. It was like she's low-key praising me. I know that I wouldn't disappoint her especially in the contest proper. Nagpatuloy na kami sa pagsayaw. Introduction pa lang ay pagod na ako. Nililinis na kasi maigi ngayong araw ang lahat ng mga sablay. Last practice na bukas.
