Para akong nabingi sa narinig ko. I can't move nor utter a word. It feels like my heart felt numb. Atty. Guevera asked them more questions that I didn't get the chance to hear anymore. Moments passed before I manage to open my mouth.

"Why?" Tears rolled down my cheeks. May kutob na 'kong siya 'yon pero masakit na malaman na talagang siya nga ang nasa likod ng lahat. "How can she managed to do that to me? We were close friends!" I yelled and cried harder.

I felt Atty. Guevera's hands on my back. "Trixie, calm down. I think it's better if you go out of this room first 'til you calm down," she said with a dark gaze.

A police escorted me outside the room and gestured me to sit on the chair. Nakatulala lang ako dahil hindi ko pa rin lubos na maisip kung paanong siya mismo ang gumawa no'n sa 'kin. We treat each other almost like sisters. I unconsciously dialed Kuya's number.

"Hello? What's up?"

"Kuya Zyrus, si Thea." Hindi ko madugtungan ang sumbong ko dahil sunod-sunod na umagos ang luha ko.

"Trixie, what's with her? Answer me. Kinakabahan na 'ko. Sabihin mo kung ano ang nangyari," he replied repeatedly.

"Kuya, si Thea. S-Siya ang nasa likod ng lahat! She betrayed me! She was the one who kidnapped me," I said in between sobs.

I wasn't able to understand what Kuya said from the other line. Para akong tinakasan ng lakas dahil sa nalaman ko. May kutob naman talaga ako na maaaring si Thea ang may pakana ng lahat. I just can't accept the fact that my doubts were right. It's hard to accept that my friend whom I treated as a sister was the one who caused me my nightmare.

"Are you okay? Where is your lawyer? I need to speak with her!" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Kuya Zyrus pagkarating niya.

I threw him a gaze with my tired eyes. Parang nanuyo ang lalamunan ko at hindi ako makapagsalita.

"Trixie, answer me... please? What are you feeling right now?" he said, now in calmer voice.

"Inside," tipid na sagot ko.

Without any hesitations, he walked towards the room where Atty. Guevera is. Natatakot ako dahil kitang kita ko sa mata ni Kuya ang galit. Moments later and the police rushed inside the room so I am.

"Kuya!" I ran towards his direction and tried to calm him. Sinuntok niya sa mukha ang mga kidnapper at halos dumugo ang mga bibig nila.

"Sir, lumabas na ho muna kayo," saad ng isang pulis ngunit nanatiling matalim ang tingin ni Kuya.

Atty. Guevera had to step in just to stop him. "Engr. Dixon, this isn't the right time to do that. Your anger couldn't do nothing. What you should be doing right now is to help your sister," kalmadong saad ni Atty. Guevera ngunit may diin ang bawat salita.

Luckily, Kuya listened to her and silently walked out the room. I followed him and we sat on the chair.

"I'm sorry I..." He took a deep breathe. "I just can't contain my anger," said and shut his eyes tightly.

I held his hand. "I understand you, Kuya." I smiled. "Actually, thank you. Thank you for always being with me."

He glanced at me. "You are my sister, Trix. You will always be my princess."

Kuya drive me home and stayed with me until I fell asleep. When I woke up, he's not in my room already. I thought he's gone so I went out my room to find something to eat.

"Oh, saan ka pupunta? You're dinner is ready."

I creased my forehead. "You're still here? What about your family?"
