After that hell week, my work became less hassle. My parents were now back in Tagaytay and they let Tito Greg lead our company in Manila. Among all of them, Dad is the most experienced but I could say that Tito Greg is the most ruthless business man and has the most strategies. No wonder why Tita Shane has a growing company too. I heard she'll be needing me anytime soon for her cosmetics and clothing line.

"Dad, can I took a two days off next week? Besides, I worked extra hours these past weeks. It's our first anniversary and I want to celebrate it to the beach," I informed them.

He sipped on his coffee. "Oh, so you were together for almost a year now, huh. Yeah, sure. Is it possible if you take your off on weekend?"

I think of it for a couple of seconds. "Yeah... I think so. I'll ask Altair about it first if it's fine with his schedule," I replied.

Pumasok na 'ko sa trabaho pagkatapos kumain ng breakfast. The employees greeted me as I walk to the hallway.

"Good morning! Have a nice day," I greeted back. I wasn't the tough manager so our working environment is good. I hate toxic people so I won't be one. Besides, it's better to work without them treating me as the daughter of the CEO.

"Hello, ma'am. Good morning po. Iced coffee po?" she offered.

"Yes, please. By the way, what is my schedule for today?" I asked.

She checked the Ipad and told me everything about my schedules. May ilang meetings but the meeting with the possible investors would be tomorrow. Umalis na siya at pagbalik niya ay dala na niya 'yong iced coffee ko.

I started doing my tasks while Gina is just sitting on the couch. It's a blessing for me that Tito Greg flew here in the Philippines for the company. If not, my parents would probably still on Manila up until now and I'd be shouldering everything here.

"Ah, Gina, do I still have meetings on the afternoon?"

"Wala na po. You just have to make the presentation for tomorrow," she replied, looking at my schedule.

"I finished it already last night. No more important things?"

Tumango siya.

"Great, I'll be just finishing these and we'll go home," I said. "And uhm, Gina? It might be odd but can you shop for me? I wanted to finish these paper works as early as possible."

Her eyes widened. "Shopping, ma'am? Hala pangit po taste ko sa mga damit or makeup."

I laughed at her epic reaction. "Silly. I need ingredients for Carbonara and beef caldereta. Please also contact Kuya Rio if he's not busy."

"Ay okay po, ma'am. Akala ko po kasi shopping talaga!" Natawa rin siya.

Things went as what I planned. It's just 1 pm when I finished all my tasks. Wala pa si Gina kaya naghintay na muna ako sa office.

Kuya, are you busy? I need help in cooking, please!

I sent him a dm but he didn't respond. I was about to send another message when he called me.

"Oh, what are you going to cook?" he asked from the other line.

I sighed. "Carbonara and beef caldereta probably for dinner."

"Why? You have your cook."

"Kuya please! I want to cook for Altair," I pleaded.

"I'm so much busy, Bellatrix," he replied in a very annoying tone.
