Long ago the a powerful princess was surrounded by eight warriors, she passed away and eight gems were left of the men. This story takes place a few hundred years later where eight men have received the gems in exchange for life, since they all died. The main character, Shino, host of a demon beast, along with his friends, tries to find the other gem holders and protect the world from a growing danger.
My thoughts: awesome show, really deserves all five stars. Each of the characters has a unique personality, interesting backstory, and very creative powers. I love shows where the main character is short (probably because I am too) and gets really annoyed when people point it out. This show had a great plot, great characters, and was just all around good.
