During the Meiji revolution in Japan, one of the greatest fighters on the imperialist side was the samurai assassin known as Himura the Battosai, after they won the war, Himura vanished. Now, ten years later, Kenshin Himura appears as a wanderer who has made a vow to never use his sword to kill ever again. He finds a place to call home at a small dojo in Tokyo and finds a swordswoman, a young boy, a thug, and a doctor to be his friends.
My thoughts: I really liked this show. Compared to other samurai shows, this one is much less violent and much more light hearted. I love all the characters, they are all just so fantastic! I would really suggest this show to others.
