Vampires and werewolves exist in the shadows, occasionally emerging to hunt humans. The strongest of all the vampires is different than the others, his goal is to stop the vampires who try to harm humans. The first OVA is the backstory, with a cool story of the strongest vampire, Cadis Etrama di Raizel, and his friend the werewolf king. The second OVA is 820 years later when Cadis wakes up from the sleep he had been in during that time to find that evil vampires are trying to find and kill him.
My thoughts: It's surprising how well developed a series can be with less than an hour of total video time. The story was intriguing but there wasn't a ton of character development, which I wish there had been more of. I also wish there was another OVA, but no word of it has come out yet.
