In sixth grade, Ayase Chihaya and her two guy friends Taichi and Arata, fall in love with the game Karuta (only card game that could be considered a sport) they are separated in middle school, but Chihaya is determined to get back together and be the strongest players in Japan.
My thoughts: this isn't my typical anime show. There was no action or fantasy elements or cute romance. I don't know for sure why I love this series so much. I think Karuta is an awesome game and I wish I could speak Japanese so I could play it.
