Shirayuki is an herbalist in the kingdom of Tanburun. A palace guard comes to her one day to inform her that the second prince wants her for a concubine due to her red hair, and she is to report to the palace in the morning. Shirayuki runs away and meets a boy named Zen in the woods. When the prince of Tanburun learns of her location, he send a basket full of apples. Zen takes a bite of one and discovers they were poisonous, but the only way to get the antidote is for Shirayuki to return to the prince of Tangurun.
My thoughts: This show is so cute! It is definitely your cliche romance, but that doesn't stop it from being one of the best romances of all time. It seriously took me all of five seconds to fall in love with Zen. If you're a romanticist, this is a show you will definitely like.
