Chapter 3

"Hi!"

I sat on my bed and frowned at the woman in front of me.

"I'm the head nurse. I just stopped by to check up on you. How are you feeling today? Did you sleep well?" -nakangiting saad nito.

I think she's in her 40's.

"Did you understand me? Hello?"- she asked and even waved her hand in front of my face.

Binawi ko ang tingin ko at sumandal. I even crossed my arms.

"Ms.Petrova?"

I glance at her and raise my eyebrow.

"Isn't it unfair that you know my name but I don't know yours?"

Medyo nagulat pa sya pero nakabawi din kaagad at ngumiti.

"Oh my bad. I'm Nurse Tallie Williams, by the way."

Pinagsiklop nya ang mga kamay nya at ngumiti sa akin.

"So can you answer me now?"- muling sabi nya habang mataman na nakatingin sa akin.

Umalis ako sa pagkakasandal at nag indian seat sa kama.

"When will I go out from here? As you can see, I'm not crazy like the others."-I fired back, completely ignoring what she's been asking me.

"Doctor Corpuz claimed that you are insane. We're still running some tests on you to help you with your PCT disorder."

That woman I'm going to show her that I'm not insane like she thought I was.

"I want to get out of here. I still have many things I need to do and you guys are stopping me from doing them."-I said, matter of fact.

She smiles and holds my shoulder, but she flinches a bit.

"You're cold."- she muttered before stepping back.

"You will get discharged once you're completely fine, Ms. Petrova. It's nice talking to you. I'll get going now."

As soon as the door shuts, I jump off the bed and look at the hole.

I tried opening the doorknob but it's locked.

"Ouch!" -I exclaimed when the sun rays struck my way.

Mabilis akong pumunta sa sulok at duon naupo.

"Ayaw kong kumain!"- I stubbornly said.

"Wag ka ng makulit. Paano ka gagaling kung hindi ka kumakain manlang?"- sabi ng babaeng hindi ko kilala kung sino. Nurse din yata ito.

Napatakip ako sa tainga ko dahil sa sobrang ingay ng mga baliw sa paligid ko.

"Kumain ka na."- she urged again.

"I'm not craving for food."

I'm craving something red , sweet , and delicious.

It's been a week or so since I last fed my hunger.

"Pwede mo ba akong samahan sa c.r?"- tanong ko sa babaeng kanina lang ay gustong kumain ako.

Tumango naman ito at inalalayan ako.

"Ang lamig mo ah."- komento nya pero hindi ko nalang sinagot.

Pagkarating sa c.r ay hinablot ko na sya kaagad papasok.

Bakas ang gulat at takot sa mukha nya pero ngumisi lang ako.

"A-ang m-mata m-mo.."

Hinawakan ko sya sa ulo at pinaharap sa kabilang side.
