"I I need you to come with me. Cause I still need your blood."
"Excuse me?"- baling ko sa kanya.
Nakatayo sya sa harap ng mahogany table ko dito sa isa sa mga opisina sa ancestral house namin. Habang ako naman ay nakaupo sa swivel chair.
She put her hands on the table to lean down a bit.
"I said I needed you to come with me."
"That's not what I heard earlier."- I fired back, but she just rolled her eyes.
"Narinig mo naman pala ang sinabi ko kanina e."
Sumandal ako sa upuan ko at pinag krus ang mga braso ko .
"The answer is no. I won't come with you."- I said firmly, even though I was starting to feel anxious by the way her eyes changed their way of staring.
Tumayo sya ng maayos at umatras. Pinagmasdan ko lamang sya hanggang sa tumapat sya sa liwanag ng araw na tumatagos sa glass window. Nakahawi kasi ang mga kurtina duon.
"As you can see, I'm not burning. I think your blood cured me. That's why I want you to come with me because there's this someone who also needs your blood."
"What am I? Your fxcking food?"- hindi makapaniwalang sabi ko at kumuyom ang mga kamay ko.
She nodded her head. I shook mine and heaved a sigh.
"I'm still sane to say yes to you, Mara. So it's a no!"- I said sternly.
Hibang ba sya? Hindi ako nag aral at naging doctor para lamang maging source ng dugo ng mga kauri nya.
In just a blink of an eye, she's already beside me. Trapping me on the chair.
There is an evil grin plastered on her face while she stares into my eyes.
"Yes, you're a doctor. And I know that by now, you already have an idea what's running through my mind."- she said.
Napalunok ako at gumapang ang pamilyar na kaba sa sistema ko.
"Hindi ka naman siguro mamamatay kung kukunan kita ng dugo diba? Tutal ayaw mo naman sumama."
"I SAID NO! Why won't YOU LISTEN TO ME?"- I exclaimed and pushed her away, but she's strong because she just held both of my wrists.
I screamed when her fangs sank into my skin. I writhed on the chair, trying my best to push her away, but to no avail.
Pakiramdam ko hinihigop ang lakas ko.
Masakit!
Ilang ulit pa akong sumigaw pero alam kong walang papasok dito sa opisina dahil sound proof ang mga kwarto dito sa mansion.
Nanghihina na napasandal ako sa swivel chair. Nakapikit ako at alam kong may tumulong luha sa gilid ng mata ko.
I opened my eyes when I felt her mouth free my wrist.
There's a smudge of blood on the side of her lips. She flashed me her evil smile. I cringe in disgust because of her bloody teeth.
"Sweet."- she muttered, wiping her lips.
Binitawan nya ang palapulsuhan ko at bumagsak lamang ang kamay ko sa hita ko.
Hindi ko alam pero nanghina ako. At ramdam ko ang hapdi ng kinagat nya.
Kumuha sya ng tissue at dinampot ang kamay ko. Pinunasan nya ang palapulsuhan ko at hinagis sa maliit na basurahan ang kalat.
"It'll heal soon."- tukoy nya sa kagat nya.
