A collection of imagines where you as the reader have to watch the love interest not choose you. Some of these are rather dark. If they're dark, they'll have a symbol. Enjoy at your own risk.

Imagine: At your wedding, Edmund leaves with the Princess of Archenand. You follow him out into the rain and he leaves, saying he never loved you.

You had fallen in love with Edmund over the course of several years and truly believed you had something worth while. When he'd asked you to marry him, you'd said yes with question.

And even up until your wedding day, you never doubted he was the one for you. You began to walk down the aisle on your wedding day and you noticed the way he looked at you wasn't the way he once had. It seemed like he was worried and doubted everything he was committing to.

You smiled and gripped your flowers a bit harder. When you got to the alter, you smiled at him but he didn't even notice you. When the priest asked for objections, a woman stood. She was beautiful. She was more slender than you, she had darker hair than you did, and she wore a dress prettier than your wedding dress.

"Edmund, don't marry her." She cried out.

"Fiona?" His face softened when he saw her. And without any regard for you, he ran to her and he kissed her right in front of you.

"Run away with me." She begged him.

"I love you." He grinned and they ran out of the church, hand in hand.

You ran down the aisle after them, calling his name. You called it loudly once you were in the pouring rain outside. To your surprise, he turned around to you.

"Edmund, I love you..." I cried.

"(y/n)," He looked to where Fiona was waiting under a tree, "I never meant to hurt you."

"Well you did." I cried, "Did you ever even love me?"

He sighed, "No."

And with that, he ran to Fiona and they disappeared into the distance. And one thought rang through your mind. Then why did you ask me to marry you?
