Imagine: You meet Edmund in Narnia the second time he comes about and you worry about him before he goes to see your Uncle Miraz to propose Peter's plan.

"We should send Edmund to tell my uncle." Caspian proposed.

"No, are you crazy?" I responded standing up now.

Edmund grabbed my wrist and looked at me. Then he stood up next to me and intwined his fingers with mine.

"It's fine, (Y/N), I can deliver a message." Edmund said.

"Okay then it's settled. Edmund, be ready to go in half an hour." Peter announced.

So you walked with Edmund down the corridor until you were far enough away where no one could hear you.

"Edmund bloody hell!" I said smacked his arm.

"Ow! Babe come on seriously?" He asked, rubbing his arm.

"You're just asking to get killed before you actually have the opportunity to!" I said rolling my eyes, my back now towards him.

"Oh (Y/N), come on! You're acting like my Mum!" Edmund laughed.

"At least one of us has sense to act the adult." I scoffed, folding my arms.

It was silent for a moment. Then I was turned around and his hands were holding my biceps below my cape. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"(Y/N), I won't get killed, I swear." He said, my hands now resting on the folds in his elbows.

"Edmund...I just can't lose you so quickly. I've been trapped in a castle ever since Caspian went away. My Aunt didn't even bother to see if I needed food. The first real thing I had to eat was the bread you passed me when we met. And I would rather spend my whole life like that than ever see you get hurt or killed." I said. And as the tears began to fall, Edmund engulfed me in a hug.

"Hey, hey babe, don't worry. You're not going to lose me." Edmund said, "I won't let that happen. I love you (Y/N)."

And for once I knew someone meant they loved me. I knew Edmund did. So I held onto him for a while.

"King Edmund-" A fawn came into view and we both stayed as we were.

"Yes, good sir?" He asked.

"Your horse is ready. Unless you're...occupied?" The fawn asked.

"Oh no. I'll be right there." Edmund smiled and the fawn was gone.

I giggled for second and let go of Edmund slightly. I put my arms on his chest and he put a hand to my cheek and his lips collided with mine. And it became a single passionate moment.

"I'll be back before you know it!" Edmund called, beaming.

"O-Okay! I love you!" I called back.

"And I love you." He smiled and then he was gone.
