I started towards the nurse's office and tried to focus on the pain in my head instead of the pain in my heart. I had always loved Edmund, and they hurt. The fact that he would do this to me-even if he didn't know I knew he had-hurt. I had always loved him, and I know he didn't know it, but I wanted him to sometimes.

"You know what, I AM DONE WAITING!" I yelled running down the hallway towards the nurses office.

I couldn't help but second think my decision to go to Homecoming with the second person I'd always known. But he was actually like a brother to me. I called him and he immediately picked up.

"(y/n)?" He said, his voice husky.

"Look," I began, "I know you're a Junior and all, but could you please take me to Homecoming?"

"Is this to piss my brother off?" He asked, smile in his voice.

"Yes..." I sighed.

"If only you knew." He muttered.

"What?" I asked, not hearing him then.

"I will absolutely go with you." He said.

"Thank you. I'll get you a date with (y/o/b/f)." I promised.

"You owe me nothing." He said.

"Thank you, I love you so much right now." I said, hanging up.

"New boyfriend, (y/n)?" Catherine's voice came from behind me.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" I shot back.

"Just stay away from my Edmund you hoe." Catherine rolled her eyes.

"That will only work if he can stay away from me." I smiled, knowing I was right.

She glared at me and then rushed past me. Suddenly, my head didn't hurt anymore. I ran back to the locker room to see everyone getting ready for school. I smiled and caught (y/f/n). She immediately knew you'd done something and came over.

"I assume you heard?" She asked.

"Yes. And I found my own way, (y/b/f)." I smirked.

"Oh no..." She sighed.

"Peter Pevensie is taking me to Homecoming!" I announced. There were cheers all around.

"Congrats!" Everyone kept saying.

{TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL DRESS SHOPPING AND PRE SHOPPING MAKEOVER WITH (y/b/f)}

"(y/n)? IS THAT YOU?" (y/b/f) gasped, looking at your hair.

"I went back to the brown, (y/b/f)." You laughed.

"You look beautiful." (y/b/f) said.

"We better get dress shopping. Homecoming is in two days." I laughed.

Once we were in the dress shop we hit the racks. I smiled looking at a red gown.

"How about this one?" I asked, holding it up.

"Oh god no." (y/b/f) said.

"Okay. Your turn." I sighed.

"This." She said, holding up a lavender dress.

"Perfect." I said.

"Okay you go." She said smiling.

"Okay okay, this one." I said putting up a Blue Velvet dress.

"(y/n), you're going to knock Edmund off his feet." She said, kind of shocked I'd pick such a dress out.

We bought our dresses and carried them to the food court where we stopped by Chicken Xpress. As we took our food to a table I saw Edmund and Catherine sharing a milkshake. (y/b/f) pulled me towards the nearest exit and we ran out to her car.

"(y/n), I promise you, he's an idiot if he can't see how perfect you are." She said as I bit my lip trying not to cry.

She was right. I would show him at Homecoming. He would see that I was perfect the way I was. At less I hoped he would.
