Imagine: You're a badass and fight in the war prior to the golden age with the Pevensies. You and Edmund are both oblivious to their feelings for each other until Edmund almost dies and you save him. Requested by: @lilypaige786
Before you read....: Please know that I used some creative choices and changed small parts of the story. Thanks!
Even as a child you were a badass. From taking Taekwondo in kindergarten to enrolling in boxing when you were in public intermediate school, you had just always been this way. When someone called you names in the sandbox you gave them a quick taste of your Taekwondo skills and they were running to the teacher with a bloody nose. When your mother had decided you'd had enough of boxing and Taekwondo, she enrolled you in a private academy. You were thirteen at the time.
You had gripped the whole way to the academy and had been left standing on the gravel driveway with your luggage at your side. You'd watched your mother's car disappear down the drive and sighed when it rounded the last visible corner. A year later, you'd been relocated by your mother to the countryside due to the increase in bombings towards the city and near the school. Professor Kirke was her philosophy teacher from school. He was the one responsible for your parents' marriage.
You'd arrived there and been greeted by the Pevensie children: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. All of them were handsome in appearance and delightful to be around. But you were especially fond of Edmund. He seemed to understand you on a completely different level the others had not even achieved amongst themselves. It was a friendship you reveled in.
Lucy had been the one to find the wardrobe, but you and Edmund had been there as well so you believed you deserved some credit. Upon your arrival, Edmund was greeted with kindness by a tall, pale woman they called Queen Jadis while you were told to run along. Some type of jealousy had boiled into you that you didn't quite understand. You blamed it on the blistering cold heightening the level of your embarrassment.
You'd returned home with Edmund and Lucy soon followed. It was a few days later that everyone was in the wardrobe together. Soon everyone was aware of the mystical world that they called Narnia. We met with Mr. & Mrs. Beaver who were kind enough to give us dinner in their humble home. Edmund soon disappeared, which worried you. He would not return for several days. It was revealed to you after some time that his mind had been bewitched by Jadis and he was with her.
There was an emptiness within you, yet you ignored it. You, Peter, Susan, and Lucy all traveled across the country to meet with the lion whom they called Aslan. Once in his camp, you were safe. Jadis had visited once and demanded to speak with Aslan. They had after a time and she came out looking rather proud.
That evening you had gone for a walk with Susan and Lucy. It was warm that evening and as you walked Susan began to speak with you.
"What do you suppose will be done?" She asked.
"I'm not too sure." I replied, "It seems that Jadis has a plan to get rid of Aslan."
"As in killing him?" Lucy gasped.
"It seems about right because then she'll have easier access to the four of us," Susan said.
"Five, I think you mean." You corrected.
"You miss him then?" Susan asked.
"I do, as a matter of fact." You'd replied.
"You like him don't you?" Susan smiled.
"No, that's ridiculous." You rolled your eyes, "Edmund is nothing more than a dear friend to me."
"And an idiot," Lucy grumbled.
