Kaitlin and Peter have been together for almost two years when they're sent back to Narnia. When Peter has to fight Miraz, Kaitlin can barely watch without crying. HUGE SURPRISE AT THE END :)

(I hope this is good! I really tried to make it fluffy and I wanted you to love it. I'm so sorry if I didn't deliver. I think this is my first legit request!)

Peter looked at me one more time and then back at Edmund. I was doing my best not to cry. Peter and I had been dating for two years now, and I never expected him to be the High King of Narnia. But, there he was standing tall in a situation where he could potentially die.

"Take care of her while I do this, Edmund." Peter said.

"I will, Peter. Just keep yourself alive." Edmund replied.

"I love you, Kaitlin." Peter said turning to me.

"I love you too, Peter." I smiled as best I could.

He kissed me and then took the sword from Edmund. And he went into the circle where Miraz stood. I looked at Edmund who looked back at me. We were both scared for him.

"Kick his ass Peter." I said quietly, and barely loud enough so that Edmund could hear.

"If he doesn't marry you Kaitlin, he's crazy." Edmund replied, making me smile.

After a minute or so, Edmund's fiancé, (Y/N) came up to stand next to him. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and then his hand was in hers. They'd been together longer then Peter and I had been, but it made sense that they were together.

Then the fighting began and I watched as quietly as I could. Every time that Peter almost took a hit, I would gasp and look away. Then he was given a three minute break when Susan and Caspian arrived.

"Where's Lucy?" Peter asked.

"She's fine. She found what she needed." Susan said looking over to Caspian.

I saw Edmund's grip on (Y/N)'s hald tighten slightly and she calmed him down quickly. Caspian looked at Peter then at Miraz, then over to Susan.

"We should be ready for anything." Caspian noted.

"Of course. The Telmarines best keep their promise." Peter said eyeing the enemy.

We all walked over towards the entrance to Aslan's How. Susan hugged Peter and he winced slightly. She apologized and he assured her it was okay. Then it was my turn.

"Peter-" I began.

"Kaitlin, if we get out of this alive, I'm going to marry you. I love you, and I always have. You were always the one. It was always you. And I want it to continue to always be you. Only you."  He said, touching my cheek.

"I would love that." I smiled back at him.

"Good. I'll win this for you, love." He said, smiling back at me. And we kissed again.

"I have to go with Susan now." I said.

"I love you Kaitlin." Peter said.

"I love you too, Peter." I replied, before going with Susan.

"Keep smiling, Peter." Edmund said to Peter who turned around to grin at the Narnians, there was a loud roar from them.

(Y/N) stayed with Edmund but Susan and I went up to seek higher ground. Caspian stood on the opposite side of the archway from Edmund and (Y/N). I watched Peter, feeling the tension on the Narnian side.

"So, you and Caspian?" I asked Susan.

"Well-" She began, blushing.

"I told you so." I smiled her way.

"Oh whatever Kaitlin." She laughed.

Peter and Miraz were getting even more into the fight when Susan and I finished our conversation. I couldn't stand to watch as Peter crashed against a rock. But within seconds, Miraz was on his knees.

"You can't take my life away." Miraz hissed loud enough for us to hear.

"It's not mine to take." Peter replied, turning slowly to face Caspian.

Caspian took the sword from Peter. I saw Peter look at me and we both smiled, knowing that when we got home everything would change. In the end Caspian couldn't kill Miraz, and instead walked away in more glory than he had started with.

"What happens next?" My niece asked me.

"That's a story for another time, my dear." I smiled at her.

"But-" She began.

"No buts, Zoey." (Y/N) said, picking her daughter up, Edmund by her side.

"Thank you for letting us visit you, Kaitlin." Edmund thanked me.

"Thank Peter, he's the one who thought of it." I replied.

"Too bad Susan couldn't be here tonight." Lucy noted.

"Yes, but shes handling Queen business as a new Mom. So I wouldn't give her too much of a hard time for that." I smiled.

"We should be on our way." Edmund said, turning to (Y/N) and a now sleeping Zoey Pevensie.

"Okay goodnight!" I smiled as (Y/N), Edmund, Lucy, and Mittens, Lucy's cat, all left.

"Hey Kaitlin?" Peter said, as soon as they left.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I love you now more then I ever have." He said.

"And I love you too." I smiled.

"I suppose we were always meant to be." He noted.

"Always is a long time." I replied.

"But I would pick you to be my always." He said.

"And you're my always." I smiled.

And then we kissed. Always caught in this moment. Always.
