Imagine: You are referred to in Narnia as the White Queen because you are the daughter of Jadis and ruler of the snow kingdom. You meet with King Edmund upon the burning of your kingdom by the people of Ettinsmoor and fall in love.
It was nearly June in Narnia when they burned my kingdom. The snow and beautiful ice palaces of my homeland were destroyed by torches and angry men and women from the northern land of Ettinsmoor. I had no choice but to venture to Narnia to speak with someone about the burning of my kingdom.
Being Jadis's daughter, my arrival in Narnia was a shock to many. It was thought that I was a cruel woman of shameful decent who would back down from going to my neighboring kingdom. But I was Queen (y/n) of Western Archenland, where the snow never seemed to melt. That's why they called me the White Queen.
I stepped out of my carriage and onto the grounds at Cair Paravel to see several servants standing around in the courtyard. Upon seeing me, they all quit what they were busying themselves with and staring at me. In an instant, everyone was bowing before me. I smiled and nodded my head, indicating for them not to bow for me, but they did it anyway.
I entered the throne room and saw a raven-haired boy sitting on his throne. He rose upon seeing me enter and sent all of the servants away. He walked towards me and bowed while I curtsied. He smiled and introduced himself.
"Good afternoon, Queen (y/n). I am King Edmund. I'm sorry that my brother is not present to speak with you." Edmund explained.
"Don't bother apologizing, King Edmund. It's a pleasure to meet you." I replied.
"May I interest you in a cup of tea?" He asked.
"Yes, please," I answered, smiling.
"Follow me, your majesty." He smiled and led me to his personal study, "May I take your coat?"
"Yes, please. I didn't realize how warm Narnia was during this time of the year." I explained.
"It must be wildly different from your homeland," Edmund replied.
"Yes," I sighed, "That's why I'm here, King Edmund."
"Edmund." He said.
"Pardon me?" I asked.
"Just call me Edmund. The formalities are for my brother, Peter." Edmund smiled.
"Alright, well, Edmund," I smiled just saying his name, "I come here on urgent business. My kingdom has been melted and charred by the people of Ettinsmoor."
"That's awful, Queen (y/n)." Edmund's face fell.
"Call me (y/n), Edmund," I answered.
"(y/n), are your people alright?" Edmund asked.
"Most of them are dead, but some of them were converted into Ettinsmoor followers. They're after Narnia now." I explained, "I came to warn you, Edmund."
"(y/n)," Edmund leaned against his desk and took a deep breath, "where are you staying?"
"Edmund, there are people dying and your kingdom is in danger! Why are you concerned with where I'm staying?" I asked.
"You're not staying anywhere then?" He asked.
"No, not currently," I answered, "But that doesn't matter, I-"
"Stay here." He smiled, "We can work this out together."
"Edmund-" I protested.
"My brother knows about Ettinsmoor and has already enlisted the help of our army to take down their abusive empire. I stayed behind to see to you and ensure that you arrived in Cair Paravel safely. I'm not much of a fighter, anyway." He explained.
"You're the greatest swordsman in Narnia, your majesty." I pointed out.
"Does that impress you?" He smirked.
"Is it supposed to?" I answered, rising from my seat.
"Maybe." He smiled.
