Eren's face was in total shock by the words that came out of this menacing man's mouth. He couldn't believe that this guy, who looked like something out of a horror movie, had the same name as his own.

"W-wait, you're me?! B-but then, how are yo-,"

"I'm not you. We just share the same name." Eren Yeager stated, as Eren looked at his hand and then shyly took it, feeling it's moist texture soak onto his hand. When he touched Eren Yeager's hand, the whole scenery had changed for both of them. The sky turned black with tiny white lights glowing down upon them. Eren thought they were in space, but he looked down on the ground seeing a sandy surface.

"Whe-where are we?" Eren breathlessly asked as Eren Yeager stared out into the endless plains of sand that went on for miles.

"This is where everything began... and where everything ended." He calmly presented.

"Ended? Ended like how?" Eren asked seeing Eren Yeager's sad face looking down toward his feet. Eren Yeager then lifted his smeared bloody fingers out in front of him, as the night sky turned inside out, creating a new scenery for them both. The dark gloomy texture turning into a loving paradise.

"Whoa! What is this place?! It looks so beautiful!" Eren asked, feeling his body relaxed and at peace, and like he could yell and no one would hear him.

They were underneath a tree that overlooked the long stretch of grass that surveyed the surrounding houses nearby. But Eren then only noticed a grand scale concrete wall that was as tall as a mountain.

"This is Shiganshina... a peaceful haven that was once my home..." but then he paused glancing over at a confused Eren, looking down at the palm of his hands.

"Is something wrong?" He asked softly, noticing Eren's face was a little down.

"I just... don't know why you chose me of all people. Why me! I'm nothing but a worthless stupid kid." Eren told him, in a sulky attitude.

Eren Yeager then looked concerned, as Eren reminded him of what he said to himself back in his early years of life. "No, you're not... you're special to one person in this world Eren. Because you made that someone a happy girl, hell, I couldn't even do that." He chuckled, causing Eren's lips to curl up.

Eren then heard the voice of a small girl, causing him to gasp out of what she had said. "Eren, did you get all of your sticks yet?" The girl asked holding her pile in both her arms. Eren slowly turned seeing a girl with long black hair as it went passed her shoulders, as she also, wore a red scarf, just like Mikasa did.

"Yes, Mikasa, I already told you that!" The boy sulked, as Eren looked out of the corner of his eye, seeing a boy with brown hair and a burgundy cardigan.

"I-is that you?" Eren asked, but then quickly wiped away his intrigued face as his eyes widened, seeing the sad look on Eren Yeager's face. His face looked devastated, as he was looking down at the little Mikasa.

"I wish... I just wish things were different... Mikasa. I know that I was hard on him, and you as well, but I had no choice." He openly spoke, his voice rough and harsh.

"Umm... excuse me?" Eren questioned, causing Eren Yeager to snap out of it, he gripped his head anxiously.

"S-sorry... I was just thinking out loud. Y-yes that is me." He shakily replied. "I used to be very cheerful back then, I was kind, annoying, and..." he paused, looking over at his younger self. He was so harsh on the outside, but deep within his hardened heart, he was a warm-hearted person. He then chuckled seeing himself argue with the little Mikasa over how many sticks they had collected.
