Chapter Fourteen

Morgan's POV

Today it's finally new year's eve meaning my parents are throwing a gathering with our family as well tonight.

The year was ending today and Kaden was still avoiding me for I don't know why. I've tried to get her to talk to me, I even went to her house yesterday after leaving the coffee shop but she wasn't there.

Which bummed me.

In other news I added Hayley on Instagram just so I could complain about her calling Darth Vader a space ninja again. She told me she watched the empire strikes back, like how are you going to watch that one first? There's no order in that.

So I obviously told her she needed to watch A New Hope first. Well technically it should be the prequels first but we'll get there eventually. It also surprised me that she didn't block me for bothering her with my 'geek crap' as she once called it.

Anyhow I need to pick something to wear since I should be getting ready already. I bought some clothes yesterday so I have to pick from the bunch.

But before I could even get to it my phone dinged and I hurried to grab it hoping it was a text from Kaden but was disappointed when I saw it was just Hayley that sent me a gif.

I chuckled and answered with a thumbs down emoji before locking my phone and concentrating on picking an outfit for new year.

Theres no way in hell I'm wearing a dress willingly or in the freaking snow for the second time this month so that's off the list to my mom's disappointment. I grabbed a pair light blue skinny jeans, a black long sleeved turtle neck that I accompanied with a leather jacket over it and to finish it I put on some black boots. Also my hair was down in slight waves tonight instead of straightened.

I looked at myself in the mirror for a couple of minutes until I decided that I looked good and well enough for tonight.

Who am I kidding I look hot as fuck.

I debated on whether taking off my glasses for tonight and use the contacts instead but I like how I look with glasses and they're more comfortable.

I finally got out of my room, unfortunately when I did one of my monster cousins came ruin and bumped into me stepping on my foot.

"Mother fuc-"

"Morgan," my dad warned as he walked by while looking at his phone and the six year old speed down the stairs laughing.

I can't wait for the bunch of kids to go they've been driving me crazy, I love my cousins sure but they're a pain in my ass.

I walked downstairs and found my mom and aunts talking in the backyard so I decided to approach them... which was a bad idea.

My aunt Janet squished the fuck out of my cheeks like I'm a kid while my other aunt Callie - my mom's sister started asking me about boyfriends until my mom interrupted and told her I was a lesbian and she was like 'What!? That's so interesting.'
