Morgan's POV
Dance day came quicker than expected and honestly I wanted to do everything but go to it but Jessie was going to be there so that was more than enough reason to go.
I was finishing getting ready when the door of my room opened.
"Mom I'm almost ready can you calm down?"
"Not your mom," I heard Kaden giggle.
I turned around and was astonished by how incredibly gorgeous my best friend looked in the long blue sparkling dress. Her hair was straightened instead of in waves as it usually is, it was also recently dyed silver. She was wearing heels as well making her look taller than she already is. It was completely different from how I saw her every day.
"Wow Kade you are ... you look ... wow." I was honestly lost at words.
Kaden's cheek flushed as she looked away shyly, "You look beautiful too Morg," she complimented looking at my silver dress.
I smiled and turned back to my body mirror, "Do you mind helping me out with the zipper?"
"S-sure," she responded and approached me from behind. Kaden looked down and then I felt her cold hands come in touch with my exposed skin making me shiver slightly and then she pulled it up, "There."
"Thanks," I faced her again, grabbed her hands and blew hot air in them making her look at me oddly. "Your hands are too cold," I mumbled as I blew some more air in them and then put my hands over her's.
"Thanks?" She chuckled.
"You're welcome," I smiled.
"Let's go downstairs your mom is waiting for us, she wants to take pictures."
"My mom is acting like I'm going to prom is kind of ridiculous."
"She's exited to see you all dress up Morgan don't be boring come on." Kaden grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out of my room to downstairs.
Walking with heels is so fucking hard I bet I look ridiculous, like bambi learning how to walk.
"How do you walk on these so good I swear I've never seen you wear heels before," I said.
"Exactly you've never seen me," she winked playfully.
"Oh my god girls you two look beautiful!" My mom screeched as she blinded us with the camera flashes.
"Mom!" I whined as she kept taking a bunch of pictures leaving me almost blind, "Dad can you stop her!"
My dad chuckled and put a hand over the camera, "Come on honey let them breathe for a second."
"I want pictures Nick," my mom said before taking a picture of my dad.
"Caitlin I wasn't ready," my dad complained as he rubbed his eyes. He then walked to us and smiled, "Okay I'm ready now."
I groaned.
"Morgan stop it and smile for the camera." My mom instructed me, Kaden nudged my side softly and I did as told.
At the end my parents took like enough pictures to fill a whole album I can't almost feel my mouth from so much smiling.
Our driver to the dance was Jason but it seems like he's running late.
As usual.
Kaden and my mom were chatting on the sofa while I played subway surfers on my phone.
"Your mom told me you and Kaden are dating." My dad said from besides me.
"Yeah," I muttered concentrating on my game.
