Morgan's POV

"Morgan!" I heard Jason whispering my name from his desk while in the middle of a physics test but I ignored him.

"Morgan!" He continued.

I finally turned to him, "What!?" I whisper yelled.

"Help me out dude I didn't study."

I glanced at his test to see it was blank. I sighed, looked at the teacher who was too busy reading a magazine in his desk and moved my paper so Jason could see my answers.

"Hurry up," I told him as I still had one last problem left to solve.

"Fuck it," he mumbled before grabbing his phone and quickly taking a picture of my test. Jason gave me thumbs up and started to write the answer in his sheet.

I rolled my eyes and focused on finishing my test.

Twenty minutes later the school bell rang and the teacher gathered all of the tests. I grabbed my things and walked to Jason who was waiting for me at the classroom's door.

"You didn't get the last problem," I said and he shrugged.

"It's better it won't be so obvious, I can work with a B. See these are one of the times that I'm glad you're such a physics nerd."

"You're really calling me a nerd after I just gave you the answer for your test?" I said as we got to his locker.

"It's a compliment Morg, you're my nerdy best friend," he gave me a goofy smile making me chuckle and shake my head.

As Jason grabbed his books from his locker I spotted Hayley in her cheer uniform across the hallway along with her team mates talking on her own locker. We haven't talked ever since that day and that was weeks ago, she has been acting as if I don't exist which feels weird because Hayley used to bother me at least once a week always.

I'm not saying I miss her is just weird.

"Why are we staring at Hayley Duvall?" I heard Jason whisper on my ear making me slightly jump.

"I'm not staring." I looked away from the cheerleader.

He raised a brow and smirked, "Sure you're not."

"What do you think of Hayley?" I asked him instead, ignoring what he had said.

"What's there to think? She's mean and bitchy."

"I know Jason. I mean besides that what do you think of her?" I asked him again, curious of what his answer would be.

Jason hummed and thought about it for a moment. "She's kinda evil but hot as well, also a good cheerleader no doubt of why she's the captain... oh and I always thought she liked you!"

My eyes widened at what he said last.

"You thought she what?" I asked in shock.

He scoffed, "Come on Morgan don't tell me it has never crossed your mind? The girl has had it out for you since we were in preschool."

When he said that I thought back to when we were kids and the first time.

I remember that day my mom had forgotten to send me my juice for lunch so Jessie being who she's always been gave me her's and then when I was sipping it Hayley came and squeezed it making me stain my shirt with grape juice completely ruining it.

My favorite Star Wars shirt to be precise.

It hurts to this day.

Since then Hayley started to pick on me but looking back at it knowing what I know now it does makes sense as that had started because of Jessie.
