Morgan's POV

"These are so cool." I said as I looked at my graduation robe.

"It's just a robe, dumbass." Kaden rolled her eyes as she arranged my hat and I muttered a small thanks.

"I can't believe we finally graduated," Norah said in excitement.

I felt arms wrap around my shoulders, "Tell me about it," Jason said with both his arms over Kaden and I.

"Who would've thought Morgan was going to be the valedictorian." Norah turned to me with a smile, "Congrats by the way."

"Thanks, I didn't think I would be it either to be honest but I guess I'm just that awesome." I joked making Norah laugh.

"Oh shut up," Jason said and smacked my hat off my head.

"Hey!"

Kaden kneeled and grabbed it off the floor before putting it again on my head, "Can you both behave, we are supposed to be out there at any moment now."

"Yeah, yeah sure." Jason said putting his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder and kissing her head.

"You two are adorable," Kaden commented.

Jason scoffed, "I'm not adorable."

"Don't listen to him, he's a big softie," Norah said and turned to Kaden. "The other day he cried watching Paddington."

"Babe you promised you wouldn't say it!" He complained making us all laugh.

"I'm sorry you are just so cute Jay." Norah leaned up and pecked her boyfriend's cheek — automatically lifting the tall boy's mood again.

"Okay, okay everybody go out to their seats in order!" The principal came and instructed us.

Outside everyone took their assigned seat and watched as the principal was the first to take the stage. I turned to see if I could spot my parents but since I was sat in the second row it was almost impossible to see anyone except for my classmates. However I did spot Hayley two rows behind me so I sent her a wink— or an attempt of one— and did gun with my fingers.

Her response of course was a roll of eyes but even from here I could see her fighting a smile.

The principal took—I don't know how long— doing his speech and talking about everything it came to his mind apparently but do I know what he even talked about? No, I was trying to not fall sleep, especially since I couldn't speak to Kaden cause she was in the front row and Jason and Norah were also in another row.

Finally he finished and called the salutatorian—which was no other than Jessie. I haven't spoken to her since the... incident at the party so seeing her there was awkward, can't imagine how Hayley feels though.

Luckily her speech wasn't as long as the principal's because my ass was starting to ache already.

Principal Roberts then started to call the students one by one to give each their diplomas. When it was Jason's turn he walked up the stage and gave principal Roberts a big hug—lifting him up in the process. After Jason other five students passed before it was Norah's turn and you can bet that when she did the person you could hear cheer the loudest was Jason.

Right after Norah came Hayley— who didn't do much except for the normal, smile, shake the teacher's hands and take her diploma.

Then it finally was Kaden's turn, I could see from where I was sat that she was embarrassed by how loud Jason, Derrick and I were cheering her on. I saw Derrick stand and go to the front with a camera to record the whole thing.
