Morgan's POV

"I can't believe you two actually got me to join you to fucking decorating for the winter ball." Kaden grumbled as she aggressively painted a giant cardboard of a half moon.

"It's cause you loves us Kade," Jason gave her a cute smile.

"Nah I don't think that's it."

I heard my two friends chat while I stared at the prettiest girl in the room putting some decorations on the wall.

"Dude you are staring and it's creepy," Jason pointed out breaking me from my daze.

"I can't help it she's just so... wow."

"She's not all that," Kaden commented.

"Oh no, she's all that."

She rolled her eyes and continued paiting the half moon, "Sure."

"I don't get why you don't like her Kade."

"I just don't believe her 'Jerome's sweetheart' facade. No one can be that nice and absolutely perfect." Kaden said while painting a little bit too aggressively.

"Jeez Kade did she pee in your food or something," Jason joked but received a menacing glare in return. "Okay not funny."

"You should give her a chance Kade, don't judge her without knowing her." I said.

She sighed, "I'm done talking about Jessie Miller." Kaden put the brush done and walked away.

"Hey where are you going!" Jason asked me as I walked away.

"After her."

"Oh come on! I need some help here," he complained but I still went after my other friend.

I really don't understand what Kaden's problem with Jessie is, she's the sweetest girl there is.

I found the silver haired girl over the spending machine, kicking it repeatedly making me a bit scared of approaching her. Nonetheless I walked towards her and gulped once she kicked the machine really hard.

"Damn Kaden what did it do to you?" I joked.

"It ate my fucking dollar."

"I see." I kneeled, rolled my sleeves and put my arm inside the machine. "What did you want?"

"Skittles," she mumbled.

I bit my tongue as I searched for the skittles, I had to go up a bit up but I knew exactly where they were once I grabbed it I pulled my hand out successfully.

At least this time it didn't get stuck in the machine.

I stood up with bag of skittles and gave it to Kaden, "Here."

"Thanks Morg," Kaden gave me a shy smile before opening the bag and eating one.

I reached her cheek with my hand and gave it a light squeeze and winked at her.

"Let's go back in there and finish so we can go to your house." I said and extended my hand towards her.

"Fine," she grabbed my hand while the other held the skittles.

We entered the gym again and Jason was at the other side talking to a girl, the half painted moon forgotten.

"I hate this fucking moon." Kaden said eating another skittle.

"It's not so bad, is fun painting it." I grabbed the brush with white paiting while looking at Kaden and then brushed the moon with it... or so I thought.
