{Natsu POV}
Lucy was bullied a lot. I had seen her getting hit and hurt. For some reason, the students didn't like listening to us.
Of course, we stopped them every time.
Today, however, we weren't fast enough.
There was a big commotion in the halls during a passing period, so we decided to check it out.
Lucy didn't have her glasses yet; they were almost fixed, and she would have gotten them today.
"She should at least have SOME endurance. What kind of useless cripple is she?"
When I realized who they were talking about, I ran over. I gasped in horror.
Lucy was on the floor, trying to calm Eagle down. Her eyes were wide open with fright, and they were blinking frantically. Eagle was barking like crazy, and was covered in...
"Blood...?"
Then I realized Lucy was filled with scratches. Her arms, legs, everywhere.
"Hey!" Sting yelled. Everyone immediately flinched and turned around. He saw what happened, he saw Lucy, and he was beyond mad.
Lucy was shivering. I ran over to her and gently helped her up. "Hey, are you ok?"
She felt around and eventually came to my face. Her shivering hand gently stroked my cheeks.
"Natsu." She weakly smiled, before fainting in my arms. Her arms loosened around Eagle, who was whimpering and sniffing Lucy. Her eyes closed, and her brown orbs disappeared.
I turned to all the students, rage filling my veins. "What the hell is wrong with all of you?"
They weren't making eye contact with me. I looked at Sting. He was breathing heavily, and his fists were clenched.
"Sting." He looked at me. "You need to care for her first."
Sting nodded, and ran over. He cupped Lucy's small face, and kissed her forehead.
"You'll be alright, don't worry." Sting said, lifting her out of my arms. "You'll be okay..."
Everyone moved out of the way, as we moved. Right before I left, I turned around.
"I'll make sure the entire school is punished for this." I said. "I'll make sure that all of you regret what you've done."
Clenching my fists, I followed Sting, who ran to the school infirmary.
"Nurse? Hello?" Sting was desperately searching for someone. A pink-haired lady came walking out.
"Yes, I'm the nurse. What—oh my." She walked over immediately. "Set her down on a bed please."
Sting did so, and we were forced to leave. Sting grabbed a fistful of his hair and slid down the wall, sitting on the floor. He sighed with frustration.
"I TOLD her to just stay home and get home-schooled or something. I TOLD her not to come out and get involved in another problem like last time..."
I sat next to him, trying to comfort him. He was mumbling to himself.
"Hey, dude, it's alright." I said, patting his shoulder. "Lucy's strong."
"She isn't." Sting said, keeping his head down. His voice came out in muffled words. "She isn't, really. She's broken-down easily."
I didn't know what to say in these type of situations.
Sting started to sniff.
"Woah, are you CRYING? What're you crying for?"
