{Natsu POV}
I pulled her into a hug.
"You said, yes, okay? No turning back, you got that?"
She laughed. I put on a big smile, feeling giddy.
Her blonde hair felt smooth, and soft. her body perfectly aligned with mine, and her smell was almost intoxicating.
Lucy smiled when I pulled away from our hug. "So, you're my boyfriend now?"
"Well, that's how it works, I guess." I said, teasingly.
After I stayed with them for a full week, I returned to my parents. I paid the family a lot of money for my stay, but I really wanted to give them more. They insisted that $10,000 was too much even, but I also insisted that they should have at least that much.
I talked a lot with my parents about this marriage. Father agreed to talk to the family one last time. If nothing else was available, we had to go through with the marriage.
Lisanna started to come back to school. If anyone talked bad about her, she would bully and hurt them. Most of the time, we were there to stop her. She would constantly try to kiss up to me, and I hated it. My friends made sure she didn't get too close.
Now Lucy was my girlfriend. She accepted my...proposal? Anyways, she agreed to be with me as long as I didn't hurt her, emotionally and mentally. Now, isn't that a given?
Now I can give her hugs and kisses without making it awkward or something.
Or something.
"Ok, you guys can stop now." Sting said.
"I-It's him, not me..." Lucy said, her face red.
I smiled. "Aw, you don't like it?"
"Dude, we're at school." Gray said. "Go get a room."
I hugged her tighter and shrugged.
An irk mark appeared on Sting's forehead. "Oi! Let go of my sister right now!"
I smiled jokingly. "Nah, don't wanna."
Sting was about to slam his hand on the ground, but Rogue's hand went under, which made Sting hit him.
"Ow..."
Sting worriedly looked at his boyfriend's hand. "Woah, are you ok?"
Rogue shook his head. Sting rubbed Rogue's skin tenderly. He kissed the hand, making Rogue blush.
"Ok, now YOU BOTH GET A ROOM." Gajeel yelled. "SERIOUSLY THIS LOVEY-DOVEYNESS IS MAKIN' ME SICK."
"Oh, love? Can I join?"
We turned around, and I made a very disgusted look. Well, she deserved it.
Everyone stood up, and I helped Lucy up as well. She heard her voice.
"Oh SHE'S here." Lisanna said, looking at Lucy. "Damn, she's disgusting."
Lucy's fists were clenched. I put a hand over them and she relaxed a bit. Lisanna noticed and burst out laughing. It sounded disgusting.
Then she smiled, her tongue poking at her cheek. "You're really gonna do that in front of your fiancé?"
I clenched my hand. "Shut up, you bitch."
"Why?" She asked, shrugging. "Did I say something wrong?"
Lucy was pulled away from me, and I saw that Sting had pulled her next to him.
She'll feel safer with her brother.
I looked back at Lisanna, who smirked.
"Listen up, you blonde idiot." She said, turning to Lucy. "Natsu and I are supposed to marry each other, you got that? Get your dirty hands off of him."
"Shut the fuck up, whitey." Gajeel said. "Lookin' like dog shit."
"Dog shit isn't white, metal-face." Lisanna said, winking. Sting clenched his fists.
"Sorry, ex-cons aren't allowed here." He said. This made Lisanna frown, and glare at him.
"Who's fault do you think THAT is?" She asked.
"It's yours." I said. "And marry you? Over my dead body."
"Well then..." She took a step closer and leaned forward, never breaking eye contact. "I'll just have to kill you, right?"
Suddenly, Lucy stepped forward, standing in front of me. She took a step back, pushing me with her. Then she walked up to Lisanna and—
Slap!
—slapped her right in the face. Everyone stood silent, in shock. Lisanna grabbed her cheek, shocked.
"You—!" Lucy caught her wrist before she could do anything.
"I don't...I don't want you here." Lucy said. "And don't you dare threaten my boyfriend like that ever again. If you do...I'll be the one to kill you."
Her threat sent shivers down my spine. Who knew she could be so scary?
Lisanna glared, her face twitching. She threw her wrist away from Lucy's hand, and walked off.
As soon as she turned a corner, Lucy released a breath, snapping everyone back into reality.
"Lucy-San! That was so cool!"
"Scary, actually..."
Lucy turned to me and searched for my hand. I grabbed her hand, and she made her way up to my face.
Suddenly, she pulled my face towards hers, and she kissed me.
My eyes were wide. Every single noise around me muted, and my body stopped.
When she pulled away, I saw tears streaking her face.
"Sorry, I just wanted to...reassure myself..." She said, letting go of my face. "So...the fight with your parents was about this, right...?"
Damn her intuition.
