{Sting POV}

We exchanged our problems. I was pretty shocked when Natsu told me about his arranged marriage with Lisanna.

"Ok. That's just disgusting." I said. He nodded.

"Yup." He replied. "And now I can't face my parents for the next how many years?"

"Why not?"

"Dude, I YELLED at them. Like, full-on EXPLODED." He said.

"So? You said what you wanted, and tried to convince them that you didn't want to. It's not like you did or said anything wrong."

He sighed. "Anyways, she's sleeping?"

I nodded, sighing. "She was trembling like mad-man. She must've been tired, she practically passed out."

"You sure she doesn't need to go to therapy or something?" He asked.

I shook my head. "She's fine. It's just...she's scared, I guess."

"Duh."

I smiled. "Welp, I'm tired. You washed, right?"

Natsu smiled. "Nope!"

I sternly pointed at the bathroom in my room. "No one sleeps in my room without taking a shower."

(Time skip)

The next day, I woke up and looked around. My eyes were tired, and my entire body was stiff.

I stretched, releasing my first sighs of the morning.

"Mornin'" I flinched and turned to see Natsu fully dressed. He had a toothbrush in his mouth.

I groaned and rubbed my hair.

"Ya think ish okay for meh to shee you jus' wake up before Rogue doesh?" He asked. I stretched again.

"Pretend you never--" Then I realized that he knew... "Wait, how do you know?"

"Know what?"

"That we're dating?"

"Oh, it was a guesh." He said, shrugging. Then he walked into the bathroom, and came back a few seconds after. "Lucy guessed it yesterday, so I just assumed."

I blushed. Curse her fricking intuition!

I climbed out of my bed and walked over to the bathroom.

"Yo, I can go to Lucy's room, right?"

"If she's awake."

"Got it."

I entered the bathroom and started my morning routine.

{Natsu POV}

I walked over to her room and quietly knocked. The house was pretty quiet, except for the sounds of the kitchen.

I walked in, not hearing anything.

Lucy was moving around in her bed. I looked around, quietly walking over to her.

She was wearing a sweater and some comfy pants. I knelt down next to her and softly patted her head. It was damp.

"Did she wash earlier...?"

She groaned, her fists clenching.

"Lucy. It's time to wake up." I whispered, gently shaking her. We had at least two hours before school started. She sleepily opened her eyes.

"Papa...?"

I smiled as she felt my face. She gasped, and flinched back, sitting up. "Natsu?!"

"Surprise?"

Her entire face was flushed. She coughed. "What...What are you doing here?"

I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. "I ran away."

"W-What?"

"I ran away." I repeated. Then I explained the situation to her. She blinked quickly, her eyes constantly moving.

"I see..."

"By the way, why are you sleeping with damp hair?"

"Huh? Oh..." She patted her hair down. "I took a shower in the middle of night..."

I released a puff of air from my nose, releasing a smile. "Well, it's time to wake up."

She nodded. "Yeah..."

I left the room after making sure she got to the bathroom safely.

"Um...Natsu?"

I opened the door again and looked around. "You called?"

"Can you bring Eagle for me? He kinda helps me..."

"Yep!"

I left the room again and walked downstairs, looking around for the big dog.

"Eagle~!" I called. I saw a tuft of blonde hair, and out came Sting from the kitchen, Eagle's leash in hand. "Oh, you have him?"

He lifted one side of his lips, before letting Eagle run to me. I hugged him and scratched his furry body.

"Imma take him up to Lucy now, you should go help with breakfast." Sting said, pointing a thumb behind him. "You gonna live here, you gotta do some work around here."

I fake-saluted him, and walked to the kitchen. I heard his footsteps as I rounded a corner into the kitchen.

"Uh...Good morning." I said, as her parents turned around. Layla-san flinched. Her hand went over her heart as she sighed.

"I-I forgot you were here dear..." She said, laughing. "Did you find our house suitable?"

"Y-Yes! Very comfortable..." I said, rubbing the back of my neck. I didn't make eye-contact with them while I set up the table.

"Jeez, can it get any more awkward in here?" I flinched and turned around. Lucy walked over with Sting, and they sat down.

"Good morning." Lucy greeted.

"Morning, Lucy." Her dad patted her head. She smiled as everyone sat down. Laxus--Er, Mr. Dreyar, sat down on a nearby chair.

"Alright well, welcome to our table, I guess." Mr. Dreyar said. I smiled nervously.

"OK, then, let's eat!"

"Thank you for the food!"
