{Lucy POV}

"We crashed." I said, and paused again. "But...I don't really remember much after that..."

I had injured my head in multiple areas, so that part of my memory was completely gone.

"I only remember it being really blurry...and dark." I said. "That's probably when I realized that I was blind..."

Natsu hugged me tightly. "That's one heck of a past, isn't it..."

I nodded. "The reason he was so angry was because...we were deemed innocent by court, and didn't go to jail, or get an punishment..."

"Ah."

"Mhm..."

A puff of air was blown out of nose. "Well, it's all over now. He's out of the country, I'm here, you're here, and everyone is safe. That's all that matters, right?"

He lifted my chin and pecked my lips lightly. A light tint spread on my face.

"Y-Yeah..."

(Time skip){Natsu POV}

Lucy was discharged today, so I went with her family to pick her up.

"Lucy, you ready?" Sting asked, as we walked in. She was pulling the ends of her t-shirt down.

"Oh! Perfect timing, I just finished changing." She said. She was in a beige hoodie with white pants. Her hair was down. Eagle ran up to her and jumped on her. She winced a bit, but laughed.

"Hey, Eagle!" She greeted, smiling from ear to ear. "Missed me?"

"Badly." Her dad said. "He was whining and whimpering all the time."

"Yikes." She said, petting his fur. Then she smiled. "I missed you too!"

It was Sunday. She's been in the hospital for a month due to her stitches. She was told to go back to school after she went home and rested.

"You ready, dear?"

"Yeah! Let's get out of here." She said, sighing. "I really don't like it here."

Sting helped grab Eagle's leash, and I held her bag. She said that she was able to carry it, but I just lifted it out of her reach and smirked as she gave in.

As we exited the hospital, she took a deep breath.

"Ah, fresh air!" She said, smiling. Then she turned to her parents. "When can I go back to school?"

"It'd be smart to stay home for at least two days before going back." Her mother replied. "But you can decide, dear."

"It's okay if I go tomorrow, right?" She asked.

"T-Tomorrow?!" I asked. "I don't think I've seen anyone so excited to go to school..."

"Why, you don't want me to go?" She asked.

"That's not what I meant." I said, crossing my arms, pouting.

She smiled. "I miss everyone; I want to meet all of my friends."

I noticed that she didn't say "See all of my friends." but I ignored it.

"Alright then." Her father said. "You'll go to school tomorrow."

"Yes!" She said, and Eagle flinched. He wagged his tail, as if he understood what we were talking about.

Suddenly my phone rang.

"Ah, sorry! Ill catch up with you once I finish the call." I said, smiling. They nodded and went ahead, talking. I pressed "Accept" and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello? Father?"

"Natsu. Where are you?"

"Ah, we just exited the hospital."

"Come home immediately."

(Time skip)

"Lucy!!!"

She flinched as everyone ran up to her, giving her a hug.

"Lucy-San!"

"Guys, be careful! She still has the wound, you know!"

"Oops..."

"Haha, it's okay..." Although she was a bit shy about coming back, I could tell she was happy. Her smile outshined the sun.

"Say, Natsu..." She said, tugging on my hand.

"Yeah?"

"Yesterday, when your dad called you home." She said. "What happened?"

I smiled, pursing my lips. "You really wanna know?"

"Yeah?" She said, a bit hesitant. "It's not bad news, is it?"

"Hmm, who knows?"

"Natsu, Cmon, you're scaring me."

I laughed and kissed her forehead. "Fine, fine."

Flashback

I walked into the house. It was a bit too quiet, and I wondered what was going on.

"Father? Mother?"

"Natsu, in here."

I walked into the dining room, and immediately clenched my fists at the person sitting with them.

"What the hell is she doing here..." I demanded. "If this is about our marriage...!"

"How about we talk first, hm?" Father interrupted.

I sat down, crossing my arms. Lisanna didn't meet my eyes, but she looked extremely arrogant, right then and there.

"So, anything you have to say, Lisanna? That is, before we turn you into the police." Mother said. At first, the words didn't register in my hand.

"Wait...what? Police? Confess?"

Father took a small object out of his pocket. "It's useless to stay quiet, we have the recording here anyways. If you don't apologize now, I will make sure you have a longer sentence than you deserve."

I was still pretty confused.
