{Lucy POV}
I nervously waited.
"Eagle, this is actually a date..." I said. "What should I do? What should I say? God, I'm so nervous..."
"Lucy!"
I flinched and turned towards the voice that called my name.
"Natsu!"
A warm hand encased mine. "Hey!"
"H-Hi..."
Natsu greeted Eagle, and we started to walk. He didn't let go of my hand.
"So...What're we doing today?" I asked, fidgeting with my outfit. "Anything you have in mind?"
"Well, you seem pretty chill about this." Natsu said, chuckling. "I'm nervous as hell."
"Do I look pretty chill?" I asked. "Haha...I'm really nervous..."
"Well, don't be nervous. Let's have lots of fun today!"
I smiled. "Yeah."
First, we went to go eat. It was at a brunch restaurant, and the food was delicious. We talked about random things.
"Hey, you know, don't tell Sting I told you, okay?" I nodded, as I drank my water. "Rogue is gonna ask him out today."
I choked on my water, and started to cough.
"Woah, you okay?"
I coughed out the water and wiped my lips.
"Wait...What?"
"Yeah! Rogue was gonna ask your brother out today."
I set my fork down. "Well, I kind of guessed that he liked him but..."
"Seriously?" He asked. "You knew?"
"Doesn't Sting just give you that 'gay' vibe?" I asked.
"Absolutely not." Natsu confirmed. I smiled.
"Well, guessing is my thing. I think Sting'll say yes." I said, and continued to eat.
"That'd be pretty cool." Natsu said.
We continued to eat, paid, and walked out of the restaurant.
"What do you wanna do now?" I asked.
"Let's go take a walk." He said. "You know, to digest the meal."
I smiled, and we started to walk. Before I took a step, though, his hand encased mine.
A rush of blood suddenly heated up my face, and my hand tensed.
"What...What are you...?"
"It's a date right? That means we have to hold hands."
He started to walk ahead, not giving me a chance to say anything back.
"Hey, wait—"
"What, so you don't want to hold my hand?" He let go, and continued to walk again.
"Hey..." I felt around for his hand but I couldn't find it. He laughed, and grabbed my hand.
"I'm kidding." He brought my hand up, and something warm touched it.
His lips.
I blushed madly, as he continued to pull me.
Pre-warning: The entire day was of me blushing, and Natsu teasing me about my blushing.
After the walk, Natsu decided to take me to museum.
I laughed nervously. "Natsu, I can't...you know, see anything on display..."
"Don't worry! This museum is only about sounds." Natsu said. "I found it just for you!"
I smiled, my heart beating out of my chest. "Thanks."
We rode a bus to the museum. It wasn't very far.
"Let's see what this thing has in store for us." He said. I smiled as we walked up a couple of stairs. Our feet made delicate sounds against the stone, while Eagle's paws scratched it slightly.
"16."
"Hm? Did you say something?"
"There are 16 steps here."
He squeezed my hand. "You counted?"
"It's a habit." I said, shrugging. "Let's go."
We walked in, and my world became silent.
No noise, nothing.
"I think we're supposed to use this." Natsu whispered. After a small clank of metal, he put something over my ears.
Headphones.
"Hello, fellow listener! Welcome to the Museum of Sound, the only one of its kind!
"In this extraordinary place, sight does not matter! Only your ears should be working! No nose, no fingers, nothing!
"Shhh! Please keep as silent as possible for the other listeners!"
"But remember: Have fun! Thank you for visiting the Museum of Sound!"
The headphones were taken off my ears, and Natsu led me somewhere.
"For two?" The receptionist asked in a whisper. "Would you like the couple discount?"
I tensed, feeling another blush coming.
"Yes please." Natsu whisper-said, squeezing my hand. I squeezed back, much harder.
As soon as we paid, he laughed quietly.
"Oww, my hand hurts." He whispered.
"That's your fault." I whispered back.
"What, are we not a couple?"
I didn't reply. I could literally FEEL his smirk.
(Time skip)
"Thanks for today." I said, as we were walking to my house.
"Thanks for saying yes." He said, and I blushed. "Lucy you've been blushing this entire day!"
"Sh-Shut up!" I said, looking away. He laughed.
"Hey, Lucy."
"Yeah?"
His hand grabbed my wrist. He pulled me closer to him, our bodies bumping into each other.
"Hey, what're you doing?"
"The perfect way to end a date." He said.
"Huh--?"
I didn't even have time to say anything. He pushed the back of my head, and something touched my lips.
I gasped.
It was soft. I felt like my brain was melting.
We shared our first kiss.
