{Sting POV}

"I told you it was my fault..."

I shook my head. "It's not, Lucy."

Apparently, Lucy was carrying a large pot made out of hardened clay. She was bringing it to the garden to add dirt, but then the students tripped her. Her pot fell, and she landed on the broken pieces. Then the students just kicked the pieces at her until she was just laying there.

"Those bastards..." Natsu said, clenching his fists. "They didn't even bother to help you?"

Lucy flinched. I heard why.

"Where is she?" Mom's voice rang in my ears.

"Mom?"

I stood up as Mom and Dad came rushing in. They saw Lucy and Mom gasped. Eagle barked excitedly.

"Lucy!"

She flinched and moved her head around. "Mom?"

I moved out of the way as they hugged her. Lucy studied their faces and hugged them.

I noticed Natsu try to leave the room.

"Hey, Mom?" She looked at me, tears in her eyes. "My friend helped Lucy earlier."

She looked at Natsu, who froze. Then he started to laugh nervously.

"Ahaha, I don't know what he's talking about—"

"Oh, thank you!" Mom said, suddenly grabbing both of his hands. "Thank you for your kind and generous heart, young man!"

Natsu looked at me, as if saying, "Help me."

I smiled and shrugged. Lucy smiled.

Eventually, Lucy ended up going home. Natsu and I ate lunch with the others, but it felt dull.

At the end of the day, I invited Natsu over. He agreed to come.

As we walked down the steps of the school, a student ran straight into Natsu, making him fall.

"Woah!"

A flash of white passed my eyes.

Thud!

"Ah, I'm so sorry!"

The girl quickly helped Natsu up. He rubbed his head.

"A-Are you ok?" She asked, worry written all over her face. "I'm so sorry!"

"It's all good." Natsu said. "You okay?"

"H-Hai!" She said, picking up her papers. "U-Um, I'm Lisanna, by the way!"

Maybe it was how nervous she was. She just said her name just like that.

Natsu smiled. "I'm Natsu!"

She reminded me of someone...

"Wait a minute." I said. Lisanna looked at me. She smiled. "You look a lot like someone I know..."

"I do?" She asked. "Who?"

Her white hair...friendly smile...

I snapped. "Mira."

She widened her eyes. "How do you know Mira-nii?"

"Right? She's your older sister, right?"

"Yes! How do you know her?"

"She's my brother's girlfriend." I said. She smiled, and laughed.

"Wow, what a coincidence!"

She put her hand out. "I'm Lisanna! You are...?"

"Sting." I said, smiling.

She smiled, then gasped. "I totally forgot! I have to get these documents to the office!"

She ran up the stairs. "It was nice meeting you!"

She disappeared.

"She seemed nice." Natsu said, as we continued to walk. "Is she a student at the school?"

"I don't know. It's my first time meeting her." I said, tapping my chin. "I think Mira told me that she was studying in Australia or something."

"Oh." We continued to walk. Natsu looked around as we turned a corner into my neighborhood. I saw my house nearby.

"It's so peaceful here." He commented. I nodded.

"Yeah. A lot of the houses either have quiet people or are empty." I said, shrugging.

"Uh huh. You can't even hear the cars that pass by on the open road."

"I think that's why Lucy likes the area so much." I said.

We arrived. I took out my keys and unlocked the door, walking in.

"Mom? Dad?"

"Sting?" Lucy was sitting on the couch. She turned towards our direction.

"Oh, hey Lucy!" I said, running to her and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Where's Mom and Dad?"

"They're having a talk upstairs. They've been at it ever since we came home." Lucy said, studying my face. "I heard more footsteps. Is someone here?"

Natsu tapped her and wrapped an arm over her shoulder. "Guess who?"

Lucy laughed. "Natsu?"

"Hey! How're you feeling?"

We sat at each of her sides. She was reading a Braille book.

"I'm okay, I guess." Lucy said. Then she frowned. "Sting, Mom is thinking of getting me homeschooled again..."

{Natsu POV}

"Home...school?" I asked. Lucy nodded.

"Can I be honest, Lucy?" Sting asked, grabbing both of her hands. She nodded. "I think that's a good idea. I don't want you getting hurt."

"But Sting..." Lucy tensed. "I don't...I don't want to leave everyone, and I want to keep going."

"Lucy, it's for the best." Sting said. "None of us want you getting hurt. I'm sure everyone would rather want you to stay safe."

I wanted to say that I could protect her. I wanted to say that I wanted her to go.

I wanted to say that I wanted to see her every single day, smiling up at me whenever we talked.

But nothing came out.

No words were spoken as Lucy silently cried into Sting's chest.

Sorry for the late update :] I was being lazy again
