"I like Echo." I said after awhile.
"The Reg!" Wreaker asked shocked.
"What does he have that we don't?" Crosshair asked with a frown.
"Well he has a past with her for one." Tech said calmly.
"What?"
"She use to work on his squad. Echo told me." Tech explained.
"He talked about me?" I asked shocked.
"He always talks about you." He said softly.
A blush appeared on my face and he let out a laugh.
"You're one of his best friends, who he is secretly in love with." He said calmly.
"I love him too." I said softly.
"Well how about you go and tell him. He is in the cockpit." Tech said softly.
I nodded my head and quickly rushed to find him. When I made it to the cockpit I saw him working on untangling a wire.
"Hey." I said softly.
"Hey I didn't hear you come in." He said as he continued to work.
I set down and watched him.
"So what's up?" He asked as he set up.
"Nothing, I just came to check on you." I said softly.
"Something wrong?"
"No... just.... have you been cleaning my room because you like me?" I asked softly.
He froze up and I bit my lip.
"I um... who told you that?"
"Crosshair."
"You can't believe what comes out of his mouth."
"Tech said it too." I said softly.
"Traitor.... um well you see I-"
"I like you too. Have for awhile." I said softly.
"You like me even though I look like... this?"
"Echo, you're appearance doesn't change the fact that I'm in love with you." I said softly.
"How long have you been in love with me?"
"Since I met you... I use to talk to Fives about it." I said as I looked away.
I heard him let out a sigh and I bit my lip.
"When you went missing.... a part of Fives left with you.... he was never the same... non of us where." I said as I felt tears stream down my face.
"I'm sorry." He said as he walked up to me.
"When I got there and Fives told me you where dead.... I almost left... but I couldn't abandon him and then he.."
I stopped talking and he pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and let out a sob as he held me tightly.
"I'm sorry... I never meant to hurt you."
"I thought I lost you." I whispered through tears.
"You'll never lose me." He said as he kissed my forehead.
