I let out a sigh as I walked towards Kallus' office, it was already late in the afternoon and I was exhausted. Why this couldn't wait until morning, I didn't know. I walked inside and looked around to see he wasn't. I walked up to his desk and saw a note.
Thrawn needed me. Be back in a few.- Kallus
I let out a groan and laid my head on his desk. I felt my eyes droop and set up.
"I will not fall asleep." I said sternly.
I leaned on my hand and let out a sigh.
"I won't.... fall... asl-"
I felt my eyes close and everything went dark. When I next woke up I felt arms wrapped protectively around me. I let out a sigh and snuggled closer into the warmth.
"Sleep well?" A deep voice asked.
I nodded my head and hid my face in his chest.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked as I looked up at Kallus.
"About five hours, we have work soon." He said softly.
I let out a groan and rolled off of him.
"Why does Thrawn hate me?"
"Probably because you're my wife." He said with a chuckle.
"So it's your fault, I knew this would happen when I said yes." I said with a frown.
"Yet you still said yes." He said as he leaned down and kissed me.
I let out a hum and smiled against his lips.
"That I did... and I don't regret it at all." I said softly.
He sent me a smile and pulled me into a deeper kiss. I heard my comm go off and pulled away.
"Duty calls." I said softly.
"Alright, but I need to talk to you later." He said softly.
"I'll be there." I said as I gently pecked his lips.
Timeskip
When the words let Thrawn's mouth I felt anger boil inside of me. How could Kallus betray me? How could he be Fulcrum? How could he of joined the rebels, and left me all alone?
"Mrs. Kallus, do I need to ask where your loyalty lies?" Thrawn asked calmly.
"It's (L/n)... and I am loyal to the empire." I said sternly.
"Good, you're mission is simple... find and kill Kallus." He said sternly.
"Yes sir." I said as I turned and walked away.
It didn't take me long to find him and when I did I couldn't stop myself from walking straight up to him and slapping him as hard as possible.
"You bastard!" I yelled angrily.
"Hello love." He said softly.
"I'll kill you!" I yelled as I moved to tackle him.
I was quickly held back by the Lasat.
"Calm it (Y/n), he's on our side." Zeb said calmly.
"That why I'm gonna kill him! How could you not have told me you were fulcrum!"
"I was scared you would tell the empire." He said softly.
"You should of know that I was working against the empire! I took you several times!"
"I... never listened." He said as he looked away.
"Damn straight you never listened! You piece of crap!" I yelled.
"I love you." He said softly.
"I love you too. But I'm still mad."
He let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Bastard." I grumbled out.
"Love you." he said softly.
