I flipped through my book and let out a sigh as I heard my office door open. I looked up and watched as Rex walked in with the rest of the 501st.
"What can I do for you boys?" I asked softly.
"We have a question for you, ma'am." Rex said softly.
"Rex, please just call me (Y/n). I mean I am dating Fives." I said with a laugh.
"Speaking of you dating him... what made you want to date him?" He asked softly.
"Are all of you curious about why I love him?" I asked softly.
They nodded their heads and I let out a sigh.
"When I look into his eyes, I see absolutely nothing. Pure dumbass. Elevator music."
"And that's why you are with him?" Echo asked shocked.
"That and he can cook, but I didn't tell you all that." I said calmly.
"I did not think he could cook." Rex said shocked.
"Yep, He makes a mean cake." I said happily.
"What are you guys doing here?" Fives asked as he walked into my office.
"They wanted to know why I was dating you." I said as I kissed his cheek.
"It's cause I'm a idiot." Fives said calmly.
"Yep, and I love it." I said as he leaned down and pecked my lips.
"It's too damn cute!" Jesse yelled as Kix dragged him out.
Everyone soon left and I was left alone with Fives.
"I love you." Fives said as I set on his lap and held his hand.
"I love you too." I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.
"When this war is over, I'm going to marry you." He said softly.
"I can't wait." I said as I leaned down and gently kissed him.
Bonus
I felt my heart slowly stop as I watched them burn his body. Rex gently touched my shoulder as I held back tears.
"I'm sorry." He whispered as he turned and walked away, leaving me alone to grieve alone.
"You said you would marry me.... you lied." I whispered as I turned and walked away.
