I let out a sigh as I followed my master back to our room. I was exhausted and just wanted to rest.
"What's wrong?" Shaak Ti asked softly.
"Tired." I explained.
She nodded her head and unlocked the door to our room. I walked inside and plopped down on the bed.
"Scoot over." She said softly.
I did what she said and smiled as she laid beside me.
"How long do we have?" I asked as I looked up at her.
"A few days." She said as she ran her fingers through my hair.
"Great." I said as I leaned up and pecked her lips.
I heard a knock and let out a groan. Shaak Ti up and walked towards the door. She went to open it but stopped.
"Out the window now." She whispered as she ran and grabbed my hand.
I looked at her shocked as we climbed out. We hung over the edge and heard an explosion go off. I held on as tight as I could and listened as I heard people run in. I held my breath and listened quietly.
"That's a clone." I thought as we climbed down.
We landed on the ground and she dragged me behind her.
"Shaak Ti what's going on?" I asked as we hid behind a wall.
"The clones have turned on us." She said softly.
"Why?"
"I'm afraid, I don't know." She said softly.
We snuck out of the temple and she led me through a crowd of people. After awhile we went inside an abandoned building.
"Shaak Ti, what is going on?"
"I don't know, but I know we can never return." She said softly.
"Did you order find out-"
"No, something worse." She said softly.
She turned to look at me and let out a sigh. She gently touched my cheek and leaned down and kissed me.
"I promise, everything will be fine." She said softly.
I nodded my head and she sent me a gentle smile. She leaned down and kissed me once more before we started walking again.
