Chapter 17 - the training begins

— your POV —

You're sitting on the ground, because it hurts sitting on the bed. What will happen to me now? You overthink your situation in every way possible, but then the door opens. "Hello, I'm dr. Stephen Strange and I'm going to train you, how you'll control your powers.", you sense something in him but you don't understand what it could be or how you could figure it out. Strange was already gone but came back as he noticed that you were not walking behind him. "I forgot, sorry.", when he came inside he saw that you were chained down and sitting on the ground. He opened everything except for the handcuffs. "How will you train me, if I can't use my power?", i asked him. "First you have to train your mind, before you can train your powers. I will also teach you a little bit about life.", he is walking really fast and you are struggling with following him. "Go inside.", Strange shows you the way with his arm.

You step inside your new training room.

"You can't destroy anything in this room. I mean there's nothing inside but you can't destroy the walls or those windows.", Strange said, "that means you don't have to worry about destroying anything." Wow. I needed this room. "Can I try something, Strange?", you ask him. "Yes, show me what you can do.", he opened your handcuffs and waited by the door. You started to use your power. First you sat down as if you would meditate, then your eyes started glowing and you got lifted up and a very bright light got formed around you. You notice that Strange is visible impressed. Then you start to float around and to create a punching bag with your powers. You shoot it with ice, fire, water and you blew it away. You feel free again, but now you don't feel happiness instead you get anxiety that you'll be locked up again as soon as you do anything wrong. Because of that you lost control over your power and you loose yourself.

— Dr. Stephen Strange's POV —

I noticed that she lost control again, so I had to stop her. I have to use it now, or she'll attack us again. I use my energy blasts which could kill a human. (I've only used this once, but Thanos didn't even notice it.) She fell on the ground and I ran towards her. Her pulse is very weak so I picked her up and ran to Stark with her.

"What the fuck happened!?", Tony yelled at me as soon as he saw us. "She lost control and I had to stop her. I'm afraid that this might not be the last time I'll use this on her.", I said while I set the ventilator device for her. When I was sure that she'll make it, I concentrated on other things. "Have you found the pills already?", I asked Tony, but he just looked away. "You didn't even look for them, right?", I was kinda disappointed but my inner voice told me that I shouldn't have had much expectations from Stark. "Go get them, now.", I advised him with an angry but still quietly voice. He nodded and went quickly away.

Half an hour passed and she still didn't wake up. Peter, Natasha and Steve came in the meantime and also waited for her to wake up. "What have you done to her!?", I got lifted up by Loki, who was screaming at me. "I could do the same thing to you.", I said calmly and he put me back on the ground and rushed to y/n. "What happened.", Loki asked, still very upset, but I told him. "Why are you so upset about this?", I asked him. I know what I saw but I want to hear it from him. "Uh-", he hesitates, "because we're somehow friends and I'm worried about her.", he lied. Is he serious with her or not? I think everyone should protect her when it's about Loki. He isn't trustworthy. "Should we give you a moment?", I asked him. He laughed nervously and said: "no it's fine. You said she's fine so everything is great." He left the room.

"What does she like about him?", Peter asked as if he was jealous but I didn't mention it. "He was the only one that was there and didn't abandon her. He's the first one that accepts her probably in her whole life. Loki just needs to screw it up and everything will change.", Natasha answered him. "But what if she stays with him even after that?", he is really unsure about her. "Then it's true love or she's just stupid.", said Steve. They were laughing but I didn't, because I saw Loki in the window disappearing, I assume he heard what we were talking about.
