Chapter 31 - Goodbye

It's the next day. You slept not even one hour, because of your pain. Then someone opened the door.

-Peter: "Oh, good morning y/n. I hope I didn't wake you up.", he came into your room.
-Y/n: Don't worry I was already up. What are you doing here?
-Peter: "I wanted to check up on you before I go to school."
-Y/n: That's nice of you, thanks.
-Peter: "Please don't be angry with me, but you look terrible. Did you sleep?"
-Y/n: No. I just couldn't fall asleep, but I slept enough this last days.
-Peter: "Ok, but you're not in pain, are you?"
-Y/n: No I'm not. You lie. Now go to school before you're too late.
-Peter: "Oh yes, thanks. See you later?"

You nod and he goes out of the room. After that you create yourself a memory bubble full of good memories as videos so that you could watch them. It distracts you from the heavy pain that feels like your body is burning again. So many good memories, even some of the time when Hydra kept you, just made your day better and then you see the memory from the kiss between you and Loki. Is that a good memory? You remember it and you can feel the taste of his lips again. Then out of nowhere Tony bursted into your room and your memory bubble disappeared, just as the taste of Loki's lips.

-Tony: "Good morning, kid. How are you."
-Y/n: I'm good. You look better too.
-Tony: "Oh yeah thanks. What were you doing here.", he pointed with his finger around.
-Y/n: Oh nothing, just some memories from back then.
-Tony: "Well, whatever happened back then or on this weird planet, it changed you and I like it."
-Y/n: Thanks, Tony. Do you know where Loki is? I haven't seen him since you wanted to talk to him yesterday.
-Tony: "Oh, uh, yeah, well, he left.", he had his hand on his head.
-Y/n: He left? What do you mean?
-Tony: "He went back to his planet, or whatever."
-Y/n: Why? He wanted to tell me something and he wasn't done.
-Tony: "I don't know, he was in a hurry after we talked and wanted to go back. That's what he told me. And he probably just wanted to say goodbye to you."
-Strange: "Good Morning, ms. no voice.", he came into the room.
-Y/n: That's a horrible nickname.
-Strange: "Yes i know. How are you feeling today?"
-Y/n: For the third time today, I'm good.
-Strange: "You're sure? Not a bit pain?", you shake with your head, still lying.
-Tony: "Whatever this liquid is, it seems to help a lot."
-Strange: "Yes, or it still works."
-Tony: "You know what, you should test this liquid. We don't know what it exactly does and it's maybe helping us humans a lot."
-Strange: "We could've ask Loki, if you haven't sent him away.", He did the fuck what!?
-Tony: "I told you to not mention that in front of the kid."
-Strange: "She deserves to know it, or do you want to risk that your house blows up when she finds it out when she's powerful enough?", they turn around to you, who has already written something.
-Y/n: Why did you sent him away?
-Tony: "He is not good for you. He will hurt you and I want to protect you from that."
-Y/n: It's still my life. You're just in it for like 5 minutes and now you think you have to protect me, after all you've done? I wanted to give you a chance, to forget everything, but it looks like you're never going to change.
-Tony: "Y/n, come on, you would be thankful if it happens how I said."
-Y/n: Get out. I don't want to see you right now.

Stephen lead him out of the room and they gave you some time alone. Why did Loki listen to Tony after what he said? You blame yourself, but you also think that this is the right decision. You shouldn't be a couple, you're in this life just 17 years old. After you've overthought everything that was possible to overthink, someone came into your room and it was Peter with a smile on his face as soon as he saw you.
