Chapter 32 - Friends

— your POV —

-Peter: "Hey, how was your day?", he came inside and laid his backpack and jacket on the couch.
-Y/n: Strange just told me that Tony sent Loki away.
-Peter: "And he listened to Mr. Stark?", he sat next to your bed down.
-Y/n: Yes, it's not like him at all.
-Peter: "Do you have feelings for him?", you were shocked.
-Y/n: We're friends that's all. We talked about our Situation and we came to the result to just stay friends.
-Peter: "You don't have to answer, but do you wish it could be more?"
-Y/n: I don't know. I never felt love in all those years and he was my first kiss ever.
-Peter: "Wait what!?"

You laugh and nod while Peter just couldn't get over it. He repeated those words the whole time and always says whaaat. You just laugh more and more and finally he calmed down a bit and sat beside you again.

-Y/n: How was your day, Peter?
-Peter: "Exhausting. The whole school is talking about you and the fact that you're Mr. Starks daughter.", he looks on the ground as if he doesn't tell you something.
-Y/n: Is there anything else? You can tell me, it won't get worse than it already is.
-Peter: "The whole school says that you're not coming to school anymore, because you think you're better than them and you don't need an education."
-Y/n: Did you expect something else?; you were joking about it.
-Peter: "Yes, you're right.", he smiled at you.
-Y/n: Writing sucks.
-Peter: "Should I ask Dr. Strange if we can practise?"

You nod again, but actually you don't want him to go, because you're afraid that he leaves you just like Loki. Be right back were his words and then he went away. After a few minutes, and it looked like he was sprinting, he came back.

-Peter: "Okay should we start?", you sit back up on your bed, because you got excited.
-Peter: "Try to say my name.", you nod.
-Y/n: "-et-", you could just bring some letters out of your mouth and it was so silent that Peter almost couldn't hear it.
-Peter: "Well, let's try again."
-Y/n: "-eter.", still very quiet, but you got two more letters.
-Peter: "You're doing great. Try again."
-Y/n: "Peter.", you smiled, because you did it. You realise it was not much, but it really frustrated you that you could not talk that this made you really happy.
-Peter: "Yes! See, you just have to practise. Want to go on?"
-Y/n: "Y-"

You two practice the whole afternoon. At the end you could say: Peter, Yes, No and Y/n. This is also really frustrating, but it keeps you from freaking out, because you can't talk. You lay back down, because your throat hurts really bad after all this practice (that sounds wrong, I'm sorry).

-Y/n: Don't you have any homework?
-Peter: "Oh, y/n please don't remind me of that!", he joked and you both laughed.
-Y/n: Come on, I could maybe help you and it also distracts me.
-Peter: "Fine."

He got his school stuff and you two starting working on it. After 2 hours the sun already went down and you almost fell asleep while Peter is still doing his homework. You watch him struggling and it's very funny when he finds out the right solution. He looks really good. Why have I never noticed that? He turned to you to check if you're already sleeping.

-Peter: "Should I go?", you shake your head.
-Y/n: "I- -ike whe- yur her-", you bring out of your mouth, very quietly. (I like when you're here)
-Peter: "Don't try too much. Your wound could tear open or it could become infected."
-Y/n: Are you done with your homework yet?
-Peter: "Almost."
-Y/n: You can finish it and then you can go.
-Peter: "I don't mind staying longer."
-Y/n: But you have to get up early tomorrow.
-Peter: "I could sleep here."
-Y/n: No, I can't ask that from you. Maybe another time and I'm tired you wouldn't have to stay that long so you can go already.

He agrees, finishes his homework, cleaned his stuff up, said good night to you and left. He really distracted you from your pain today and you're already excited for tomorrow. You decide to try to sleep and you managed it.
