Chapter 38 - School

— your POV —

You're hitting Peter with a pillow in his face, because you already woke up and were really excited.

-Peter: "What the f- why did you wake me up?"
-Y/n: "Come on, it's Monday, we have to go to school.", you sat on your legs and looked at Peter who was still very sleepy.
-Peter: "What time is it?"
-Y/n: "6:30 AM."
-Peter: "What!?", you started laughing.
-Y/n: "I'm excited."
-Peter: "Why? You get bullied the whole time."
-Y/n: "Well, I don't care and I want to show them that I'm not better than them. I also learned a lot of things while I was ill."
-Peter: "You can start getting ready while I just relax a bit more."

You hit him again with the pillow and start to get ready. You started with your normal morning routine, but then you thought Fuck it and changed it completely. I mean of course you still brushed your teeth and combed your hair, but this time you didn't do it into a ponytail, you let your hair open and styled it a bit (straightening or curling is your choice). After that you got out of the bathroom and made sure that Peter is sleeping, so that you can quickly change in the room.

When you were done you pulled the blanket away from Peter, who was just grumbling a bit, but you thought it's funny. I'll see you at the dining room. You tell him and go out of the room to the dining room. Just Pepper was there already.

-Pepper: "Seems like you're pretty excited to go back to school."
-Y/n: "Yeah, but I'm afraid that I will hate it as soon as I arrive there."
-Pepper: "You just have to get their respect. That will be hard, but I'm pretty sure that you can do that. And even if not, you still have Peter and his friends."
-Y/n: "Thank you, Pepper. Will Happy wait in front of the house again?"

She nodded and left the room, because she had an important meeting. You started to get some breakfast (whatever you like) and shortly after you were done Peter came inside and just looked at you.

-Y/n: "Did you just fall asleep again?", you joked and went towards him with an already made bred that you push him in his hand.
-Peter: "Yeah I guess, thank you.", he bite into it.
-Y/n: "Happy will wait for us in front of the house."

You told him and when you were done you grabbed your stuff and went to Happy, who drove you two to school. On the way you started to get worried and Peter somehow noticed it and put his hand on yours, when you looked at him he was smiling at you to calm you down and you gave him a smile back. He will be there for me. You said to yourself to comfort you a little.

Then you arrived and everyone was staring at you as soon as you got out of the car. Some had the same look on their faces as Peter before, some were judging you with their looks and some were talking about you, probably really bad things but maybe there are thinking about some good things too, you hope a bit, but you know it isn't true.

Happy drove away and you and Peter go inside of the school.

-Peter: "Are you okay?"
-Y/n: "Yeah, yeah I think so."
-Peter: "What do you have in the first period?"
-Y/n: "I don't know, I have to meet up with the principal first."
-Peter: "Okay, see you in the break?"

You nod and Peter goes away to his friend, you think his name is Ned or something. He looks really happy and after you watched him for a bit, you go away to the principals office. He told you just the normal stuff that really not interested you, like You can't just disappear for half a year, and so on. After he told you a speech, he gave you your schedule and you were allowed to go.

The day was just as a normal school day should have been: boring. You had no classes with Peter, but because of that you were even more excited to meet him in one minute. Yes, you literally stared the whole time at the clock. Then the break finally started and you jumped off your chair and walked straight to the cafeteria.

When you arrived there you grabbed a tray and got some food from the women. Then you looked around to find Peter, he was already waving at you and you walked to him quickly.

-Peter: "Hey, how was your first day since you know?"
-Ned: "Oh what happened? Do you have any powers too?"
-Peter: "That's my best friend Ned, he usually isn't allowed to ask questions like that.", he looked with an angry expression to Ned.
-Y/n: "It's okay, Ned look.", you laughed at first and then you get close to the table and you summoned a flame on your hand.
-Ned: "Wow.", you all leaned back again.
-???: "Hey guys. You must be Y/n Stark, right?", a girl came out of nowhere.
-Y/n: "I prefer Y/n Romanov and you are?"
-???: "Oh my bad, I'm Michelle, but you can call me MJ.", she sits on the table with us.
-Peter: "She knows about me too."
-MJ: "Wasn't hard to find out.", they look each other in the eyes and laugh and you felt something weird in your chest.
-Peter: "To defend me, she was more or less stalking me."
-MJ: "What are your powers?"

You explain them what you can do, but then suddenly a guy came towards you.

-???: "Look who showed up again, the famous Y/n Stark, who thinks that she's better than us." 
-Peter: "Flash go away."
-Flash: "Is this loser your Bodyguard, because you can't do anything by yourself?", the whole schools laughs
-MJ: "Flash shut up."
-Flash: "She can't even answer for herself and the fact that she doesn't even look at me just makes her more ignorant than she already is.", you had your head in your hands, because you felt your eyes getting hot.
-Peter: "Don't you have anything better to do than this?"
-Flash: "Why? I like being with you losers.", he hit you on the head and went away.
-Peter: "Is everything okay?"

You just walked away without answering them. You had to calm down, or the whole school blows up, that's why you ran into the bathroom and locked yourself in one of the cabins.

-MJ: "Hey are you okay?"
-Y/n: "Yeah, I'm- I'm fine."
-MJ: "You sure?"
-Y/n: "Mmh"

You stayed in the cabin until the next lesson started. When you stepped out there was MJ still waiting for you. She put her arm around your shoulders as soon as you stepped out. You told her that she didn't had to wait for you, but she didn't respond to that. You washed your face quickly with some water and then got out of the bathroom. Outside were Peter and Ned and as soon as you stepped out Peter hugged you.

-Y/n: "I'm fine, MJ was there.", you stopped the hug.
-Ned: "I don't want to disturb you, but we have to go."

You all said bye and got to your classes. Today you had no classes with not one of them, you were always alone and after the break everyone was making fun of you. I shouldn't have come back. You just wanted to get out there as soon as possible. Then the bell rang and you were relieved. Thank goodness I can get out of here. You got all your stuff and walked to your locker.

-Flash: "Look who I found, the good Y/n Stark all alone. Where are your friends now, huh?", he walked to you and closet your locker.
-Y/n: "Please just stay away from me.", you said quietly.
-Flash: "Oh little Princess, go get your Bodyguards.", he said in a high pitched voice, "because I'm not going to stay away from you.", he pushed you against the other lockers.
-Peter: "Y/n!", he saw you and wanted to get to you, but you shacked your head.
-Y/n: "Enough, Flash."
-Flash: "Oh now I'm afraid. What do you want to you? Call daddy?", the whole school laughed.
-Y/n: "Not exactly."

You eyes began to glow in the colours of the infinity stones and Flash was shocked.

-Y/n: "I said you should stay away from me and my friends, or you'll regret this."

He ran away and you saw that everyone was standing around you. Some had a surprised expression and some had a feared expression, but Ned and MJ had an amazed expression. Then you looked at Peter and thought that he would be mad, but he was proud and you could see that and felt amazing.

You walked outside with your new friends and Happy already waited for you. You said goodbye to them, just as Peter and you two got into the car. The rest of the day was just training with Steve and doing homework. You decided, because you had to get another infusion to stay in the 'hospital room' and you were excited for the next day.
